We were a 'cold call' by the sales representative. My husband is a disabled veteran and I am disabled after a stroke. We had an attempted break in a few weeks earlier. We were told the installation and devices were free with a four year contract which was transferable if we should move at no additional cost. We were not told that the installation crew would arrive before we were finished talking to the salesman. Talk about fast response. We were informed that there was a 90 day window for changes to the system at no charge and after that a fee for a site visit would apply. The installation was handled professionally, and the young men were very professional and personable. Things occurred very quickly from door knock to installation. After using the system for a and and a day we thought it would be better to have more than one camera in place and a second panel on the second floor near the bedrooms might have increased my wife's safety when she is alone and I am away. We called the salesman and were disappointed in his response that anything else would involved significant funds outlay on our part. We may not have understood all the details correctly due to the quick pace of the salesman arriving and the installation crew shortly thereafter. The panic button is not very well designed and might go off accidentally when carried in a pock or pinned on clothing. Overall the system performs very well.

System has been installed for 2 weeks and I am waiting a second time already for someone to come out because faulty sensors were put in. The last guy set off the duress alarm, unknown to me. Hour later they called and asked if I was ok. An hour later! I said yes it must have been the techie. An hour later the cops showed up! Two hours after the alarm was accidently set by the Protection 1 guy. I would have been long dead by then if it had been real.

Our sales agent was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the system. Quick and easy installation. The panel is very easy to use. We couldn't be happier with the customer service and the system. Would recommend to anyone.

From the very beginning from just answering questions, I can say that protection one has been amazing. I know we have room to grow with our equipment and keep adding down the road. Everyone is professional and eager to help answer questions. They are prompt with set up time and the technician we had installing was awesome. I have a phone number of someone local if we need help. Couldn't be happier!

Technician was fast and professional. Panel easy to understand and used. Excellent service highly recommend.

The panel is amazing and easy to use. I like having the ability to arm and disarm the system from my phone. I find them a little slow in repair/equipment adjustment and I'm still waiting for yard sign and decals two weeks after install.
