Problems
We have had problems with our system since the installation a few weeks ago. Sensors not working, newly installed equipment falling off the wall, issues with the delay when entering the house which is causing the alarm to go off. Also had an appt set up for service with a 4 hour window. The repair man never came.

USAA Member
USAA is a military oriented saving institution that endorses products for their customers after a careful evaluation. I decided to go with Protection 1 since USAA endorsed them and Protection 1 has the state of the art technology at a very reasonable price. Protection 1 also has redundant sites so if one site goes down another site can still monitor my house unlike many of the smaller companies. The technicians who work for Protection 1 are in house employees which is an important factor for me since there is a check and balance within the company and the company has means to make quick decisions without the input from a third party.

Dishonest! They are legal crooks!
They are very dishonest and deceitful. They are truly a horrible company, that practices bad business consistently. Please people trust me and DO NOT SIGN CONTRACT! They will make you pay the remaining months of there 3 year contract. So for me I owe them $1,006 for the remaining 24 months of my contract. It was still cheaper to pay the $1,006 and to get a new security system plus four cameras. Than what protection 1 was going to charge me for just three cameras. Every employee from Protection 1 that we have met or talked have been so professional
Everyone we have met or talked in P1 have been so nice and professional! We have had excellent service from Protection 1: technicians, salesman, phone operators,... We are extremely pleased with their service and patience.
