Total waste of time and effort. Wasted 4.5 hours trying to get thru the check in process due to unreliable connections. Will secure an in person proctor going forward. Don't waste your time with this company. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Absolute Nightmare Had to write a CSMLS canadian medical lab certification test. For nearly $1000 I was using horrible, unreliable software that disconnected me with only 20 questions to go. Got the run around with support for over an hour, finally able to finish test.. Then got disqualified for breaching security because I have a one room apartment that I share with a 12 year old cat (who was asleep on his bed across my room). The proctor made me force my cat into the bathroom where he fought back and hid under the bed. Nowhere was I told that I couldn't have a pet in the room when preparing for this test. And now I have an unfinished test and am on Prometrics Naughty list. am out almost $1000 currently which is ridiculous for a student Shameful for anybody to entrust their students or members with this company

I was struggling to get someone to help me go through application status, schedule a date to take the state exam, and request a refund. I called several times, but I could not reach anyone or get any helpful answers. It took me forever until I got help from Shaniqua, a customer service representative. She was extremely helpful. She explained every so clear and guide me through every single step

Prometric has treated me like absolute garbage. STEP 1: just a quick review because they cut of my review off and nullified it at the end of the test. My test was proctored by 5 elderly men who were kind but seemed to all struggle with hearing. Throughout my test they were talking in their quarters, loudly. They were talking about girls and made some inappropriate jokes. It was very distracting. I put the earmuffs on as outside a chainsaw was blaring throughout the test but they found a new way to bother me. They decided to check all the ducts in the testing room during my test. At this point I was already losing my cool during the test that ACTUALLY decides my future. Some poor guy was doing his test and his computer just turnt off. One of the proctors walked in and out and kept talking loudly and saying he did not know what to do while this guy is getting really upset, for good reason. His timer kept on ticking and they were unable to do anything about it. It became a yelling match and I had to tell them to be quiet. During the commotion the guys were so busy that when I raised my hand to take my precious break for lunch NO ONE SAW ME! I went through my test without break and without lunch. I can keep going on how you guys flushed my opportunity through the toilet like it was nothing and I will never ever forgive or speak kindly of this poor service you provided to me. Now STEP 2. STEP 2: you would think that it was a fluke. They strive for excellence is what you expect. I have been preparing for my test for months to do better than the clown show from last time to make up for something, if possible, STEP 1 is the absolute most important test so that already got destroyed. The night before I am preparing to go to bed. I am calm and ready. One final glance at my emails at 8:30 pm less than 12 hours prior to my exam. An email from prometric telling me they canceled my test without explenation. COVID-19 may be a reason is all they gave after our long anticipated date. Less than 12 hours... how is that possible. How is that acceptable. I am in Mexico now on my vacation to protect against burn out and I am STUDYING! I am very pissed!!!! not only my test got messed up again but you also wasted this important time to avoid burn out for me and wasted my entire vacations. Thank goodness though because prometric scheduled my exam now FOR ME AND WITHOUT ME! Thanks for letting me have an input for when I want my next disaster to occur during my rotation where I need to impress for a LoR. A great start and a great ending. Wherever you guys come into play my life changes for the worst. I will never ever support you guys. Oh, and writing complaints is also funny because you will talk to one person who bounces you to another person etc etc. great job! you guys got this down to a T. looking forward to my next test....

Prometric has been an absolute disgrace to work with. From having a terrible platform online, technical issues with no support. I have been waiting over 4 hours to contact someone about my test which has been paid for and now gone

Prometric is a disgrace. Part 1 exam for Canadian medical certification. $1300….. Takes more than 3 months to get results. And the Medical Council of Canada is a disgrace for using them and allowing this. This is the experience of a foreign doctor who is a friend.

One week ago I had my exam via their remote service at home: I was too "lucky" as I had over 10 (ten) Proctors, each of them has different requirements. To set up my exam, the Prometric needed to spend for over 2 (two) hour, as only 8 (eight) Proctor was a technic gic by adjusting his video settings. I have my laptop and I put my 27 inch monitor on it: the 8th (eight) proctor did not allow me to use my 27 inch monitor: Roberto Rodriguez as a Security Agent (?????!!!!) requested to use my small laptop screen and he cannot show me the specific policies in regard that requirement. The Prometric does not care in regard to the Human Rights and Accessibility Environment as the have lost their legal case in the ONtario Human Rights Tribunal recently: https:// www. canlii.org/ en/on/onhrt /doc/2021/2021hrto573/2021hrto573.html The legal process started in 2021 February: https:// crosscut.com /2018/10 / would-be-home-health-workers-claim-bias-states-qualifying-exam They have checked all what they can check, including my privacy places: they have forgotten than only the Court can found someone guilty after trial investigation: in fact, they think that everyone is cheating (???). They asked me to show my fingers' (???!!!!!): they have been acted disrespectful and derogatory, even knew I have my special accommodations approved. I am too old, and the younger Proctors are acting disrespectful by show their power, I see as unethical and not professional... After my exam, I have reviewed all exam Policies by sponsored Company and by the Prometric: I did not find any requirements that I was asked... It is meaning every Proctors are a SuperHero to disrespect the Candidates by not following up the Standards. Soon I will have my rescheduling exam and I am going to see how it would be... In meantime, the Prometric does not answer to my Complaints.
