Its no wonder 58% of first time MLO test takers fail. The test has absolutely zero questions pertaining to anything I learned in the classes. Very broad questions with numerous answers that apply. Talks nothing about specifics of loan processes or federal regulators in each loan type, which I studied thoroughly. Waste of money and time.

The English language has over a million words, yet, I cannot string together a sentence expressing how incredibly bad the software, the service and the whole concept of Prometric is. For people who are asked to be tested, please resist and say no. For employers who want to test applicants, you will be missing out on the good people. This company needs to be shut down. What a mess! Their software is unable to deal with standard microphones (Skype, Teams, Zoom, Messenger etc. have no issues... but ProPro-whatever-it's-called can't deal with it. If you have technical issues, they ask you to call their technical service... now here's a joke, I called them and they were closed. After figuring it out myself (normal firewall settings) it took me 10 minutes to get them back on the call. After a very intrusive 'security check' I waste time watching my screen, nothing happening. BTW the 'security checks' are laughable, I can think of 100 ways to cheat, so completely useless. I got disconnected... My fault, they said. Where I never, ever, have connectivity issues... I had to do the whole 'security check' again. But wait, there's more... After I said I had had enough, they threatened me that they were recording and said they would share the information with my 'sponsor'. Good grief... what a mess that company.

My daughter went for her OTA test and their check in process was not working and this delayed the exam. The exam started over 1.5 hour late. How stressful for her. For such an expensive test this is truly not acceptable.

I signed up to take an exam on 9/28/22, which Prometric canceled and rescheduled to almost a month out. Given that I have 2 more exams, (of a 4-part series to complete certification), to be completed by 11/22/22, it wouldn't work for me to take the exam @ their rescheduled date. I was able to go online and sign up to take the exam on 9/28 after all, but I was charged a $35 cancellation fee. That's a total scam since THEY cancelled the exam-not me. There is no way to contact this vendor. If you call the automated line NO ONE CAN HELP. You're just passed around multiple times. If you submit a request online you're given a case # with no follow up. Also, I tried to do the online proctor, but I was told my company issued laptop wouldn't work because of the firewall. I was told that I need to get my IT company to uninstall the antivirus software from the computer. WHAT??? So, I had to go to an onsite testing center because their app software only works on a private laptop. Absolutely ridiculous.

If I can, I will put 0 strs. Due to hurricane in Florida, got text message day before exam, that it cancelled and I need to reschedule. Went to website, can't reschedule, because it's NOT canceled in the system, actually it showing that my testing center should be opened. Spend already 50 minutes, nobody knows the answer!!! The worst experience, they bouncing you between departments. That is the only testing center where u can take CPA exam! I wonder if anybody from headquarters reading this, probably not, since reviews so bad and no improvements.

Absolutely the worst test experience ever! All my system and internet speed checks were fine. Their system was incredibly slow. The whole test was suppose to take 3 hours, but it took so long for questions to load, that the first half took that long. The proctors are rude and absolutely ridiculous in having you move office supplies to where each different one wants them placed. One proctor wanted me to remove all office supplies from the room…..stapler, tape, paper clips, etc. She stated they were study materials. Each of their security checks, which are a joke, took at the very least 5 min. What a waste of time. I had a sitter for a disabled chid and couldn’t finish the exam because I only scheduled the sitter for 4 hours. Absolutely horrible. This company needs a serious to be shut down and/or a complete overhaul.

Absolute nightmare, the worst exam experience ever. Completely, unreliable, ignorant and most importantly not trustworthy. Fundamentally it is a sham company.

I was trying to take an exam and they had 3 agents (one after another) who wanted to check my id (and scan too). They asked me to logout and login again to their app. If you think airport security is bad, try these guys. They treat you like you are about to steal stuff from them. They want you to be in camera view 100% of the time, but their agents refuse to come on camera. I couldn't take their harassment any more and gave up on the test. Avoid them if you can. There are much better test providers out there.
