Worse Experience of my life!
Worse Experience of my life!! I just wanted to write my exam today that's it. First system glitches kicked me out 3 times so now on the 3rd proctor trying to verify my workspace had nothing but issues! I was working at my dining room table alone. I showed my table, they wanted to see the floor under the table, then the chair, then under neath the actual table! Flipping my laptop to prove I didn't tape anything under the table was hard enough! Then same under the actual chair seat. Then I showed my main floor 360...blinds had to be down. I confirmed my TV was off...they wanted it unplugged. I said I can't all the wires are mounted behind it. Demanded to see the cable wire un plugged...I said I can't! Then wanted me to hang a blanket over the TV! It was turned off! And I'm not going to risk my TV falling off the wall from a blanket being hung off it!!! I had a photo digital frame 15 feet from my dining table, that had to be turned off. Also mind you my back was to the entire living room anyway! Still not good enough. Next blinds still an issue. They were closed! But not good enough. Then walls...then they wanted to see each wall and the ceiling and each ceiling corner in my main floor! Next kitchen window blinds were open and patio door blinds...I closed them even though they were 15 feet away in another room but still an issue! Finally we move on. She wants to see my hands front and back, arms, then says I need to see your nails?? My nails!?! I just showed you my hands! My sleeves were rolled up but I had to roll up a further 1 inch so my elbow could be seen? Next was my ears...show the back of my ears...jewerly...exact words "what is the purpose of your necklace?" Excuse me?? She said my earings and necklace had to come off. This was insane and I've never felt so provoked in my life!! At the end I was barred from doing my exam because I was clearly frustrated with all of thse demands and nothing being satisfactory to them nor having them explain why my jewerly had to come off when that was not shown as mandatory anywhere on my exam booking email. Now I will have to fight to not be charged a $300 no show fee for an exam I was banned from completing!!! Insane!! Never ever do a proctored exam with company! Just make the extra effort to go to the testing facility and save yourself the stress and aggravation!! I wish I had!
