This program was sold to me by over promising on what they could do to help me on three of my prescriptions. Over the phone I was told that if my medical expenses were high enough and my income low enough that this program would be able to help me get 3 of my most expensive medications for $111.00 a month. I paid the initial $111.00 along with a $50.00 administration fee that was non refundable. After supplying all the necessary information on my end, it turned out that I did not qualify for assistance with the most expensive of the 3 medications of which was the entire reason I even attempted this path. I, did however get one of the 3 medications delivered, but the 2nd most expensive one I was going to have to pay even more just so I could get 90 days of the medication. I explained to the lady on the phone that my Dr. Would not write this prescription for 90 days. That was just his policy. I had been using GoodRx Gold to get the 2 cheaper of the 3 medications in the past with my monthly expenses for these two being a lot less than the monthly fee that was being charged by this service. In that case I instructed this lady to remove me from the plan and refund my money minus the expenses for the one medication that I did get. By this time a second fee had been levied against my account for $111.00. I was told that since they provided me the service for the cheapest of the 3 medications that I could have gotten using GoodRx for a lot cheaper, I was not entitled to a refund. In my opinion, this was nothing more than a scam to get money from vulnerable seniors that cannot afford to pay for their medications but make too much money to qualify for assistance. I paid over $300.00 for a medication that I could have gotten for less than $50.00 using GoodRx Gold. With Medicare enrollment going on, seniors or people on disability and Medicare, should be aware of schemes to take money from them under the guise of providing assistance!!! A lesson I have learned and should have known better than to get caught in.
