Representative was kind, patient, sympathetic and helpful. I understood the program well when he completed his explanation and was glad to sign up. If it was a perfect world the program would have started sooner, paperwork completed sooner, and my other meds examined for their eligibility as well.

This company is a fraud. After dealing with them for months and them collecting my money, they finally told me that the rules have changed and I will not be getting my life sustenance medication. The will only be refunding a half of all the money I have paid them. I hope they can sleep at night.

Scamming thieves. In Jan of 2022, I signed up with Takeda's Help at Hand program. The number called was on the back of my Takeda Help-at Hand card. Each time I called the number on the back of the Takeda card, I thought I was speaking with someone directly from Takeda's HAH program. At not point had I heard the words PrescriptionLifeLine. In May 2022, I spoke with a representative and requested that my "membership" be cancelled. I was ensured it was cancelled. In October of 2022, I noticed that my account had, in fact, been charged every month since my cancellation request. I decided not to make a huge deal because I had started a new RX and requested to receive assistance for that. The representative asked for proof of RX from my provider. It was sent and apparently was not the correct proof, after 2-3 weeks of back and forth, I am told that Takeda's program does not cover this RX. I then request a cancellation for a second time. Which did not happen, because I was charged another $69 in Nov. I called Takeda only to find out that actually PrescriptionLifeLine was handling this all along. I then call PLL and explained my story and requested a cancellation. I was told someone would call back. After almost 2 weeks and no phone call, I call PLL again. They have no record of my most recent call and cancellation request on 11/30 (I have a timestamped screenshot of that call and the duration). The representative even said the number I called on 11/30 was not their number, this phone number was the same number I called to speak to her on. She refused to admit it was in fact their number....while I was speaking on her on it. She also said the membership would be cancelled but I would not be refunded the $400+ dollars that they unjustly took out of my pocket even though I requested cancellation 2x prior and hadn't taken/refilled that RX since May. She also mention they were not "affiliated" through BBB, which really meant they weren't accredited, for obvious reasons. RUN.

I apologize for the negative experience that you had. Prescription Lifeline is a membership based company that assist its members with approval in patient assistance programs sponsored by pharmaceutical companies. If you were calling the number on the back of your voucher card, than you were in fact communication directly with Takeda's HAH program which would explain why your account was not cancelled and why there was no record of a call to Prescription Lifeline. It is also important to note that the Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredits businesses that meet their standards for transparency and customer service, but not being accredited by the BBB does not necessarily mean a company is a scam or not reputable.
