I've learned a lot about mortgages in the last few months. I know it's a tough grueling processes but the mortgage company is supposed to be there to help you through it by educating you and offering suggestions to get an approval.. This is the only mortgage company I have worked with so I can't compare experiences myself but I have shared my story with some knowledgeable friends who were baffled at what we went through with Premium Mortgage. I'm lucky I was able to get advice from a different mortgage broker through a family friend because she really helped with the process, something PM should have been doing themselves. First off, I was given a pre-approval and when we got an offer down on the house and needed to have our approval letter we couldn't get it. We ended up having to add another person to our mortgage just to get it through. Granted, I was very unfamiliar with this process and I gave them all the info they asked for, yet I was accused of not providing them with everything. Secondly, we had a very large down payment (just as much as the requested mortgage amount) yet we still had to jump through major hoops to get this through. Keep in mind, if we were to not able to make payments, this company already would have had half the sale price of the house in their pockets. They would have had our money and the house. They had all the chips! Third, some of the brokers seemed like they were not knowledgeable enough to handle our case. I literally went back and forth with them regurgitating the same information (even involving other people to back me up). This just made the whole process take longer. Lastly, our interest rate actually kind of sucked for going with a mortgage bank. I was told you can get a better rate from them than if you went to a regular bank or credit union. Maybe I was wrong. I'm happy to be done with this company. They are already in the process of selling our mortgage even though we just closed on it. SMH...

They are awesome !! They answered my all questions ! They explained me everything in such a detail that even a layman without any financial knowledge will be able to understand it . If you are first time homebuyers go for them !

Overall good experience. A few points for improvement: 1) System to upload documents did not allow visibility to what was uploaded and seemed antiquated. 2) Fax'd sensitive information to the fax number using the provided cover page which was never found and caused duplication of effort on my end. 3) Better to have a information sheet in the beginning of the mortgage process, walking through steps and time frame and a list of possible information required to level set expectations.

I had a great experience with Phyllis and Rebecca. As i know i am not their only customer, they still got back to me very promptly and answered all of my questions. We were both very satisfied with how everything worked out. Thanks for making this process a little bit easier on us! We appreciate all the help and good work.

They assisted with every step of the mortgage process and for a first time home buyer that was extremely helpful. My mortgage broker was always available in case any questions came up.

All worked out well. Was fast and efficient. Lots of paperwork but that's probably more about the mortgage industry than Premier. Overall I would tell others to use them.
