Setting up the mortgage was flawless. Once it was handed off from the broker to the internal support there was some gaps in communication and delay. This greatly impacted our experience and caused our closing to be delayed.

Broker was slow to answer questions. Premium Mortgage processors often asked for the same information with little instruction in the beginning. Had to address mistakes on closing disclosure documents. Home buying experience was exhausting.

I understand the need for documentation as my mortgage was to be resold on the secondary market, but even after providing said documentation I was told to provide it again - after saying that I had already submitted the documentation, it was found in my file. Caused some worry and delay...

We had no idea what to expect throughout our mortgage experience. If communication had been better and a clear cut timeline of when deadlines had to be met was better explained at the onset of the process, we would have had a lot less stress and a better experience. We ended up having to constantly email and call to make sure the process was moving along since no one communicated with us.

Overall, the communication or lack there of, between our mortgage agent and ourselves was quite disappointing. I did not feel as though we were treated as individuals but more as another customer on a conveyor belt. I do appreciate this company for its values and willingness to help veterans but the staff seems to lack that same caring attitude.
