The Pokemon Company International, Inc.Reviews of pokemoncenter.com

Company is trash!! Get a error saying I'm botting when I was trying to check out. The scalpers can checkout no problem, however trying to buy some for personal use and I get this. Sent an email to support and still haven't heard anything back.

They stole from me 3 times in the past, claiming that I must not have cancelled my Pokémon home subscription but when I proved to them that when I bought the one month, no renewal subscription I took all the measures to make sure that a continuing subscription was not active because I did not trust them. I took videos of myself purchasing it and checking my switch settings for subscriptions and when I sent them in emails (bet they weren't expecting that) all I got was, "we are very sorry but we don't do refunds and our policy clearly states this" I was furious so turned to the phone hoping that talking to someone might get better results but after the same conversation the customer service woman said "oh, well I'm sorry to tell you this but we don't do refunds" so I told her, what do you mean? I'm not asking for a refund, I'm asking for my money back. She said, yes well that would be a refund. So I told her no it would not be because actually I never subscribed and have proven already that I did not purchase the service I was given a further 3 times after my initial purchase so as it stands this can only be seen as theft or fraud as you are fraudulently claiming I have a subscription despite my evidence and the fact technology and internet keep records. Safe to say they didn't care.. this was years ago but I like to remind people of it because this company is still untrustworthy, and greedy. Their switch era of games are also terrible, with more bugs than indie games, many of those bugs break the game too, like the ones that send you through the map and into a void for 5 minutes before shutting your game down and erasing saved data. Palworld wasn't even in as bad of a condition on launch as sword/shield and scarlet/violet and at least palworld gets regular fix attempt updates, all Pokémon cares about is adding more content and getting more money for their buggy mess that has no right being that buggy for the price of it and from a rich and well established company.

I can’t buy anything because I live in Europe. Can’t even get it shipped to Denmark no matter what I’m willing to pay. How can such a big continent like Europe not be able to buy Pokemon stuff like the rest of the world? The sellers in Europe then buy in bulk somehow and the put the prices on way up for collectors.

Awful website, Imperva security, and experience. PokémonCenter is a website that will actually make you want to avoid purchasing Pokemon products. It is quite an amazement at how utterly terrible this website and its joke security (Imperva) operate. Real users have to get in a Que while bots are purchasing products through loopholes. Yes, bots have bypassed the Que numerous times and gone WELL BEYOND order limits that are imposed on real human customers. This has been going on for so long that there is no way TPCi is not aware. The truth is they are just either incompetent or just don’t care. The experience to preorder/buy Pokemon products shouldn’t be this bad, but it is how TPCi allows it to be. There is still no official comment about how TPCi allowed bots to purchase Phantasmal Flames preorders before the general public. No, TPCi did not cancel any of those preorders yet. What an embarrassment. Oh, the “Que” system is horrendous. Why doesn’t it function like other website ques? It should show your place in line, estimated time to access site, and it should save your spot in the queue in case you close your browser or lose connection. You should not have to stay on the same page for 2+ hours….and STILL not be able to order any product. Oh…and customer service for PokemonCenter is equally as pathetic.

Allowed over 50k units of the newest and highest demand set to be botted before they where even released, have made no announcement or public statement, unless they make a statement saying people doing this will have there addresses, ip, cards, permanently banned from shopping, this will never end. Get better pokemoncenter.

They cut open sealed cases on purpose before they ship so you no longer have a sealed case premium. As a case collector this is problematic. Pokemon in general has become a nightmare. Print more cards assholes.

Absolutely rubbish.. After work 5h I was on the line for preorder.. 5 times I was trying to pay and was no confirmation and then failed.. I was so upset and tired!!! After line was open but everything sold out.. I wanted to write a complaint but I couldn't finde where I can do it... I'm thinking to stop collected cards... I got inaf...
