The only thing they do well is take my money every month. They do not return phone calls, they hit my bank account twice in the same day for my April payment and caused me to bounce checks. I have been served court papers 3 times, there are several creditors they have never negotiated with in almost 3 years, I have had my wages garnished. To be fair to them, I did have surgery that went bad real quick and ended up with 3 surgeries in a six week period. I missed two payments. I called them to make good and the customer service rep said "We will just start you back up next month". I said, "Great, thank you!" I had no idea that meant I would miss payments on negotiated settlements and mean I had to start all over, pay them to re-negotiate those settlements. It just goes on and on. They will not return my money, this is handled by the "Payments Department" and they do not take phone calls. They are always "going to have an attorney return your call"..doesn't happen. Or if it does happen and I miss the call, good luck trying to return the call as they direct you to. You won't ever get the person back. Pretty much all of the things outlined here by other consumers. I just can't take anymore dealing with them. I want to fire them but am afraid I won't get my money back this is sitting in the account they manage. I have emailed the address they give here for someone to contact me, it has been ignored, obviously, as I have not heard a word in 6 weeks. Stay away from them!

PIONEER IS NOT WORKING FOR YOU THEY ARE WORKING FOR THERE PROFITS WE WERE UNDER AGREEMENT FOR A 3 YEAR TERM AT 700@ M AND THEY HAVE ONLY PAID OR SETTLED 4 OF 10 ACCOUNTS THEY TAKE A HEFTY FEE OR THEMSELVES THEN NEGOTIATE WITH THE REST ONCE YOUR ACCOUNT HAS FUNDS BUT THEY DON'T PAY THEM UPFRONT THEY MAKE PAYMENTS SO IF FIRM IS NOT WILLING THE FIRM HAVING THERE OWN LAWYERS CAN STILL GO AFTER YOU, WE WERE SERVED -AND SHOCKED THAT IT WASN'T TAKEN CARE OF BY LAWYER IN THE STATE>>JUST TO FIND OUT THE ATTORNEY THEY DID HAVE NO LONGER WITH THEM & THEY HAVEN'T REPLACED THEM!!! WE HAVE DILIGENTLY PAID ON OUR ACCOUNT NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT YET THEY HAVE CONSISTENTLY DROPPED THE BALL WE CALLED 3 MONTHS AGO TO SHOW THAT THE ORIGINAL LENDER WAS SOLD TO ANOTHER AND SENT THE LETTER BY EMAIL. AND WE CALLED AGAIN TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE AWARE OF CHANGE 30 DAYS LATER WE HAD A KNOCK ON DOOR COURT SENDING A SUMMONS AND AFTER SCREAMING AND YELLING ABOUT IT THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AND WE RECEIVED A NOTICE THAT WE HAD TO RESPOND IN COURT IT WAS SENT WITHIN 2 WEEKS WE ONCE AGAIN SENT TO PIONEER CALLED AND CALLED AND CALLED TO HEAR WE CANT HAVE SOMEONE IN THAT SHORT OF TIME YOU'LL NEED TO GO OR THEY COULD FILE A JUDGEMENT DUE TO LACK OF RESPONSE SO I WENT PAID 68$ AND $12 TO MAIL RETURN RTCPT TO ATTY, OVER 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND. THEN WE RECEIVE A NOTICE TO A PRE-TRIAL CONFERENCE ON AUG 1ST SENT IT TO PIONEER ASKED FOR ATTY IN THE CITY WHO WOULD REPRESENT US SORRY WE DO NOT HAVE THAT INFORMATION THE LIGATION TEAM IS WORKING ON IT WE'RE SORRY WE ARE WORKING ON IT. WE'RE SORRY WE HAVE A TEAM WORKING ON IT. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH BS AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE. THEY HAVE LIED OVER & OVER TELLING US THEY WERE WORKING ON IT YET WE WERE SUMMONED TO COURT! THEN THEY PLAY THIS WE SORRY WE SORRY ROUTINE WITH NO RESULTS!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!! WE HAVE $3600 SITTING IN ACCOUNT AND THEY CANT NEGO A $8K BILL??? {WHICH IS ALMOST HALF} INSANE I'M SICK KNOWING THE OTHER BILLS WILL NEVER BE PAID AND WE TRUSTED THEM WITH THERE AGREEMENT- TO REPRESENT US THEY CALCULATED OUR DEBT TOLD US THE PAYMENT NEEDED AND NOW WE ONLY HAVE 5 SMALLER BILLS PAID AND THERE ARE 6 STILL HANGING AND TERM ENDS IN OCTOBER. WE WERE LIED TO AND I DON'T THINK THEY ARE EVEN TRYING OR CARE MAY HAVE TO FIND A LAWYER TO TAKE THEM ON AND STOP PAYING THEM SINCE THEY HAVE DROPPED THE BALL OVER AND OVER AGAIN

Since I began the program in 2014, I have been very pleased. Every representative I have dealt with has been most helpful and pleasant to work with. I am very glad I decided to go with them and get my finances back on track. It feels so good to see your accomplishments and makes you feel good about yourself when you take charge of your finances. I am also very happy to say that I should be debt free within a year. This is all thanks to Pioneer Law Firm and their group of negotiators and customer service reps. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

I've been with Pioneer since early 2013 working to settle 5 accounts: USAA, Amex, Discover, Chase, and Bank of America. Originally negotiating to join them in 2013, they told me that my payments of $525 / month would be done by nov. 2017. In the middle of the program my payments were increased to $650 / month for 15 months, they said this was necessary to complete the program on time. They had lowered it back to $525. We are in May 2017 and I still have 2 accounts that have not been settled, Amex for $6200 and Bank of America for $6,000 and I only have $1,100 in escrow. My total debt on all 5 cards at start was just under $40,000, and the total that I have paid to pioneer has been about $30,000. They estimate another $6k or so until they can negotiate the last two debts. They settled USAA at about $10k, Chase at about 3k, discover at about 2k, and they expect Amex at about $3,500 and Bank of America at about 3k. The total of that is $21,500, and yet I will have paid them around $35,000 total. I did make 3 payments of 2k additional to my regular payments. Still looking like I'll need to pay another lump sum of 3k with my current $525 / month payments in order for me to finish this program by nov. 2017 and be out of debt by then. I question was this really worth it. I could have settled these debts myself and had an additional 5k to 10k in my bank account. Definitely look into settling debts on your own before signing up with Pioneer. If I were to miss payments, pioneer charges fees on top of that, so if you want to end up owing even more than what you currently owe, just miss a few payments with pioneer and you'll definitely fall into a deeper hole. Good luck to everyone struggling from debt. I feel your burden and I hope this will steer you away from making a terrible decision. It is tough to get financials back in order when suffering a hardship, and I hope this post will help people realize that pioneer does not care about the interests of the people in debt trying to get out of debt, but that they are solely trying to profit off of the people struggling. :/

Keep YOUR money!! I have been trying to contact them since February .I regret the day I decided to joined them. They make sure every month they get their money from my account. Can someone tell me how I can legally leave them? All the money I'm giving them, all of my accounts should be paid off.

We put 4 cards into a program in April 2014, with a 3 yr pay-off . The payments were taken via Autopayment into Escrow account. The Amount piled up into the ESCROW and Pioneer did not do any followup with Creditors in the First year. After 8 months of payment, they came back with some negotiation on one of my Card which was almost close to what i Owed. The Negotiation did not help, as the Creditors sent me 1099 by the year END and i ended up paying while filing Taxes for the year. CHASE, CITI, AMEX do not negotiate with Pioneer as they have negotiation issues with the Firm. When Finally i cancelled my A/c from the program, i had to go through 4-5 calls to give some sort of recording for why i am cancelling. Still waiting to get my balance from ESCROW. Just Run away, not worth taking their services. I made a huge mistake, i should have listed to the banks and gone through their own settlments, as all these credit card companies settle for almost 60% of the money u owe, Call them directly if you ever have issues paying your creditors.
