This company is the worse to try and talk to someone in person.I have tried calling several times and we play phone tag after I have been on the phone waiting for long time spans.. Last time I waited an hour and when I got the representative she told me she couldn't hear me and told me I had to call back and hung up on me.Funny as I have using the phone all day without a problem. Call back and I'm put on a computer message machine. They have stopped taking money out of my account but apparently it isn't a problem for them as there has been no communication for three months.

This is a review about the lawfirm
This is a review about the lawfirm and not the customer service team who is helpful 99% of the time.
I would never advise anyone to use this lawfirm. My experience has been less then rosy. So far i have been taken to court several times and had to settle one of my accounts outside of the designated agreed upon monthly payment schedule. Funny how even with paying that seperately I am still not going to be done any sooner than they originally calculated. Better yet, they called me today about a settlement offer to finish off the one I pay on my own, who no longer will let me call in and pay on my own. They now require a 3 way call with a representative from this lawfirm. They gave me 2 options, 1 I could call and make payments on my own for the next 12 months or 2 I could make that payment amount along with an additional $50 a month for 11 months and they would make the payment for me. How does that work? Then on top of that they told me I owe $10,000.00 more than I should on that one account. Icannot stress RUN! Enough. If i could do over i would try to negotiate on my own.

Pioneer does not help you get out of debt, be cautious.
I've been with Pioneer since early 2013 working to settle 5 accounts: USAA, Amex, Discover, Chase, and Bank of America. Originally negotiating to join them in 2013, they told me that my payments of $525 / month would be done by nov. 2017. In the middle of the program my payments were increased to $650 / month for 15 months, they said this was necessary to complete the program on time. They had lowered it back to $525. We are in May 2017 and I still have 2 accounts that have not been settled, Amex for $6200 and Bank of America for $6,000 and I only have $1,100 in escrow. My total debt on all 5 cards at start was just under $40,000, and the total that I have paid to pioneer has been about $30,000. They estimate another $6k or so until they can negotiate the last two debts. They settled USAA at about $10k, Chase at about 3k, discover at about 2k, and they expect Amex at about $3,500 and Bank of America at about 3k. The total of that is $21,500, and yet I will have paid them around $35,000 total. I did make 3 payments of 2k additional to my regular payments. Still looking like I'll need to pay another lump sum of 3k with my current $525 / month payments in order for me to finish this program by nov. 2017 and be out of debt by then. I question was this really worth it. I could have settled these debts myself and had an additional 5k to 10k in my bank account. Definitely look into settling debts on your own before signing up with Pioneer. If I were to miss payments, pioneer charges fees on top of that, so if you want to end up owing even more than what you currently owe, just miss a few payments with pioneer and you'll definitely fall into a deeper hole. Good luck to everyone struggling from debt. I feel your burden and I hope this will steer you away from making a terrible decision. It is tough to get financials back in order when suffering a hardship, and I hope this post will help people realize that pioneer does not care about the interests of the people in debt trying to get out of debt, but that they are solely trying to profit off of the people struggling. :/

Filip, we apologize for the frustrations you have experienced regarding the additional funds needed to settle your enrolled debts. Now that the Amex account is settled, our team of negotiators will continue to work diligently to settle your last debt. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Get no response on Discover Card
We have been with Pioneer since Sept. 2014 for debt resolution on three credit cards. Back in March, 2015 a notice from Discover Card was forwarded to Pioneer for immediate attention because we were being sent to an attorney for law suit. To this day no one has contacted us. When we call customer service trying to get an answer, it's the typical we don't have any info at this time. We have asked to speak to upper management but always get told no one available. Getting a call back is a joke! Two days ago (Thursday) we were served with a law suit from Discover Card. The documentation was immediately forwarded to Pioneer requesting immediate contact from them. No body has bothered to contact us, just the standard email thread. Pioneer has sat on the notice sent them in March, 2015 and literally done nothing (that's a year and 4 1/2 months).
We want immediate contact from someone in a upper position in this firm as to what you are doing and why you have'nt handled this account.

Not impressed.
Should have reviewed all options instead of quickly jumping into everything with this company.

Frustrated
All followup has to be done by me
The only account that has settled has negotiated directly with me. . . I sent the information regarding the settlement, and then I get a generic congrats email from you saying you settled on one account.
I have a pending lawsuit, and on 7 occasions, you dropped the ball. Not uploading information, not returning my phone calls, not responding to the court.
I am really second guessing my decision to enroll with you. I have been contacted by numerous law firms who already provide better attention to me.

Not enough communication
We have been in the program for 18 mos. And only two accounts have been settled, while several credit cards have been charged off, no settlements have been offered. Test we still pay every month. Would like more status updated. It is difficult to actually speak to a real person!
Response from Pioneer Law FirmJun 8, 2015
Barbara,
You are currently enrolled in a 48-month program, so it will take a little time for the balance on your savings account to build up (in order for us to reach additional settlements on some of the other accounts). I'm sorry you have been unable to reach us. I'll be sure to have someone call you directly so we can provide you with an update on your account.
Thanks,
