Pickup MusicReviews of pickupmusic.com

I have only taken one course, but their approach is what I require. The course was broken down into tiny bites with encouragement through out. The student comments also helped with the only lick I didn't quickly master. Of the courses I have purchased online, it is the closest to having individual lessons.

Pickup Music has been the most valuable resource in my entire music journey. I've gained so much knowledge and skill in such a short amount of time, it's honestly unbelievable. It’s been a game-changer for my growth as a musician!

After years of plateauing and getting disheartened with the guitar, finally I feel like I'm making progress and more importantly, I'm excited to pick my guitar up again. The pathways are extremely well thought-out, and the whole team is so encouraging. It's almost impossible not to get better at your instrument.

I’ve tried many guitar programs, and I can honestly say that Pickup Music is by far the best one. I love how the courses are designed with your development as a musician in mind. Not just teaching fancy tricks that you can play without truly understanding them. Pickup Music makes it easier to develop a consistent practice habit. For years, I would play my guitar daily for a few months, only to put it down for a few months after that. With the practice modules, you can choose exercises based on the amount of time you have available. Whether it’s 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or an hour, they’ve got you covered.

I decided to try out the Pickup music course after trying to learn guitar again after a long time off. I tried learning myself from books and YouTube videos, but found I had no structure and was flitting from one thing to another. I chose the late beginner course because I had played guitar when I was younger. I gave it up when the kids came along and life and work got in the way. After a break of about 40 years I decided to take it up again. I am really enjoying the course and learning again. This course covers a lot of techniques, you can go deeper into different styles in further courses. I have almost completed the late beginner course and will definitely carry on with other courses.

Pickup Music helps me learning and combining guitar theory and its progress at the same time with less stress as I can learn from dot to dot. Give me fundamental basic and also entertaining.

Amazing platform! I needed structure, this has it. I needed a competent teacher, this has many. I needed a user interface that is easy to look at, this is it. I needed it to be fun, this is super fun (and maybe even addictive?). It's honestly the only website I care to be on anymore LOL. What can I say, I'm hooked!

Pickup Music has been a transformational platform for me. I've played guitar off and on since I was 12 and now some 50+ years on after a rather long hiatus I'm retired and have time on my hands to spend playing. My son who's a professional musician recommended Pickup Music. It has been such a great learning platform for me. I love the diversity of the learning pathways. I'm working on finger style, groove, Late intermediate and Rock. So I'm never bored with one thing. The Caged Learning pathway was a sensational reintroduction for me. I love working on and getting feedback on the performance pieces as well. This is the only paid service I'm using. My playing ability and knowledge have improved vastly in the past year thanks to PU music. Can't say enough great things about this platform. I see myself using this for several years to come as there's always something new and enticing to delve into.
