Pickup Music is very well structured and the learning process excellent it’s not there it is learn this you actually go through the lessons with a instructor I’m actually enjoying the learning process and I have been playing for a very long time so I would definitely recommend you actually have a 14 day free trial nothing to loss I have tried allot of these online courses but I have to say this is the best I have tried

Ive been on the site for @5 months. Im really impressed by many aspects of the site but here are a few or my favs. Wide variety of lessons for music styles. I appreciate lots of music styles (and musicians) to be able to bounce between, Jazz, finger style, neo soul etc lessons keeps things fresh for me The CAGED lessons were huge for me. Molly and Sam do a nice job explaining and building skills that allow the entire fret board to be opened up. I definitely "see" the fret board in a different way. The lessons and videos move nicely. Starting from talking about the topic from a theory perspective. Tying it to a scale on the fret board, developing a couple of licks in that position, and then providing the jam sessions were you get direction against a live track. The jam sessions are HUGLEY helpful. All in all i think this is a great place to be if you a beginner or intermediate player.

This platform for learning is incredible! I've learned more in the last few months than I have in nearly 30 years of playing guitar. The methodology and system is super fun and engaging, which is the key to learning. In music, the operative word is "play". I'm grateful for the opportunity at the end of each lesson to play with the new ideas learned, not just work on them. Highly recommend this method of learning for guitarists of any age or skill level.

I started learning guitar via youtube tutorials, which was fun, but lacked structure I realized I kinda needed. Pickup Music has been perfect for me because its giving me properly structured direction and also allowing me to move at my own pace. Pickup Music is a fantastic learning platform with great instructors, high quality videos with multiple camera angles, dynamic tabs and play along jams and exercises. There is a vast library of material to choose from across a variety of musical genres, styles and techniques. I really like how the lessons are structured, typically with two to four exercises followed by a jam to practice what you've learned. If you follow a learning pathway you won't have to think much about what you need to practice since there's lessons for every day of the week for at least a couple of months. At the end of each grade of a learning pathway you can also pick a performance piece and submit a video for feedback, which has been really helpful for me as a guitar player. I highly recommend learning guitar with Pickup Music!

The dashboards are clean and clear, I'm only in 2nd grade but I already have a better understanding of my fretboard and my instrument in general. The teachers make us learn the arpeggios and intelligently integrate licks to chain positions which gives concrete cases to reuse in solo. Finally, the support is super friendly and gives real advice.
