I’ve tried many of the most popular guitar teaching websites, but none of them come close to providing the amazing learning experience Pickup Music provides. I absolutely love the structured learning pathway approach and have benefited so much from the courses I have completed - Caged I and Intermediate. I am now taking late intermediate and loving it. It’s really true - Pickup Music will help you break through the intermediate plateau and continue your quest for guitar mastery. Bravo Pickup Music!!

I've been playing on and off for 26 years. Mostly self taught, so I felt it was time to sharpen up my fundamental knowledge of the instrument. Over the last two months or so, this course has really enhanced my playing and opened up the fret board. It has helped to remove so much of what I was frustrated with about my playing. I always felt I had a good ear for melody and chord arrangements, but now I'm able to bring other ideas to life that in a much easier way now that I'm incorporating what I'm learning throughout this course. I look forward to finishing this lesson plan and continuing on to other that pickupmusic offers.

Great, love the step by step, challenging but bit sized enough to make progress, great to have the tab for play along under each part of the lesson

Very good quality video-based lessons with backing tracks, videos and synced music notation. I like the structure of the lessons, the diversity of playing styles and calibre of the teachers. It's inspiring to hear the teachers play and reveal step-by-step how to reproduce their techniques. It's also nice that you can go at your own pace and pick-and-choose amongst a large catalog of lessons that are targeted for different skill levels.

I had a cursory understanding about the CAGED system. But I didn't understand how they connected in regard to playing over chord changes efficiently. This course takes you through the process, step-by-step. Molly is an excellent communicator, and it begins to become clearer. I'm only about halfway through the course, and I understand so much more about how the CAGED system "unlocks" the fretboard. Thanks Molly, and thanks Pickup Music!

Dr Molly Miller is not only a gifted player but a gifted instructor. The best players don't always make the best teachers. Molly is the one who knows the material so well that she can explain it in simple terms for both beginner and advanced players. I'm an intermediate player and love this course. The step-by-step approach has been painstakingly arranged to help each student the best. The staff is taking a personal interest in my progress as well. I'm getting more from working with Dr. Miller than I did with my in-person instructor years ago when I first began; she's that good. The CAGED system starts to " click," and the fretboard becomes unlocked bit by bit. With all its resources, personal feedback, and quality instruction, this course would be a bargain at twice the price. I'm all in and extremely impressed by how this was put together. I've subscribed to a few folks on Patreon and paid for their lessons. However, this is in another league quality-wise.

I did enjoy the CAGED learning pathway very much. It was very informative. The instructors knew when to take things slow and when to ask a little more from their students. Always kept things interesting, although very straightforward with the material. I would have liked to see some more use of the CAGED system with practice over basic/standard chord progressions to build a better base before trying to solo on things like the EM7,CM7. Really being able to hear the differences of the scales of four or five chord progressions. The applications of what we were learning were great! I just felt like it lost site sometimes of its practicality.
