These pathways are well thought out. I've been playing for years and decided to join the intermediate pathway. While I'm 'ahead' in a lot of ways, I keep finding these pesky holes in my playing that I'm able to work on thanks to this pathway.

This experience is very comprehensive moving at a very practical pace. It’s broken up into digestible bite sized lessons that really help grasp the concepts. Something that seemed like rocket science to me prior now is starting to sink in

After scouring the internet in October 2023, I decided to give Pickup Music a go, and did the free trial. Once the trial was finished, I became a member, and will continue to be a member as My passion for learning the guitar has been re-ignited, and I am excited about learning and practicing. WHY? The customer service exceeds my expectation. The staff are so friendly, and send emails to make sure you are going ok with the course you are working on. You can drop an email to Pickup Music and ask questions. Get advice on what you should be working on, and you get personalized feedback on your work. Pickup music really do care about you, and your musical journey. The courses are fantastic. They are well thought out, and anticipate the needs of everyone. I enjoy Practicing the Guitar everyday. WHY? I enjoy Practicing because the lessons have me engaged from start to finish. I have a feeling of accomplishment and pride, and am making wonderful progress, which has me coming back for more. Try Pickup Music, and see for yourself. I can write this review, but, the feeling I have inside about my guitar is priceless to me. I never imagined getting the motivation and excitement back, and having progress like I do now.

This is the best guitar learning site I've ever tried (and I have tried a lot!). The interface is so user-friendly, the courses are well-structured, and even though I was a bit sad to start in the late-beginner pathway (I wanted to be in intermediate lol), it turned out to be well-suited to my learning stage. The pricing was a bit daunting at first but after learning about the structure, the range of classes they offer, the customer service, the ability to send videos to teachers and receive detailed feedback, and now having a personal experience of it, I can say it is so worth it! I have made so much progress in my playing in these 3 months that I have in the past year.

Thing thing I like most is they show you the notes to be played and where to put your fingers on the guitar and the lessons are so easy to follow

Best guitar teaching I've had. Hands down.

Intermediate - advanced guitarist here. Pickup Music has taken all the little things I picked up by ear over the years and made them all work better together. The lessons are so perfectly paced and the backing tracks really help when practicing feels too stiff. Instructors are really knowledgable and professional. Tunes up rhythm, theory, improv, everything but never feels dry. Just wrapped up grade 5 of Molly Miller's CAGED course and wish I could tell every beginner, and intermediate player in the world to go take it right now. You will level up! All instructors are focused on the core of the lesson but with a little extra tip sprinkled in here and there to keep each lesson exciting. Best money I've spent as a musician since my first instrument. Thank you Pickup Music team for an absolutely fantastic product.
