I was a very satisfied customer of PillPack which is part of Amazon but until recently it was run separately. A few months ago they migrated my account to Amazon Pharmacy, and since then nothing has gone right. every month 1 or 2 medications are not included in my monthly order because they claim there is problem with the prescription, but each and every time, after multiple phone calls and hours of wasted time, they miraculously discover that there was nothing wrong with the prescription. However, until that moment of realization, their staff argue with me like I am the stupid one.

I used Pillpack for years. Their ads won me over with removing daily pill containers and not having to have a ton of pill bottles to deal with. Amazon pharmacy swooped in and ruined another perfectly good thing. Now a third of my pills can't be added to the packets and I am back to pill bottle hell. I hate Amazon. A third of a year they've been promising to fix things and not following through. I don't have to be part of the 1.8 billion dollars they make off this awful service so I cancelled my service and will spend at a local pharmacy instead.

My experience with Amazon Pharmacy has been really bad. Their pharmacists are not very knowledgeable and their technicians don’t know anything. They don’t even want to help. So stay away from Amazon Pharmacy for your prescriptions.

I have been a PillPack customer for about 7 years, and was happy with the service. Since Amazon took over, I have had nothing but trouble. Of the 9 prescriptions and OTC medications that have been my usual order for 7 years, I have had issues with 6 of them. I have spent way too much time on the phone trying to get it right.

What went right? Lousy web based experience, the chatbot has three fixed answers an pages of gobbledygook, They lose prescriptions, they’ve needlessly complicated the checkout process, they’re incapable of understanding that just because they lose the PA it doesn’t mean you don’t need the med. overall, terrible, terrible customer service, I only wound up with Amazon Pharmacy because the bought PillPack, a small company with excellent customer service, when you called, you got a pharmacist, not a bot. Later: I cancelled Amazon Pharmacy and switched to Accuserv. Customer service is an actual person, there is a pharmacist available if you need one, and the packs actually tear on the perforations, unlike Amazon ‘s, which inevitably tore across the pack scattering pills all over the place.

I called today to get a price for my medicine under my insurance plan to see if Amazon was cheaper or more expensive and Amazon Pharmacy REFUSED to give me a price. No price check, no business, goodbye!

They did not fill the Rx as written by the doctor, they sent less, and now my insurance won't cover my medications and I'm paying out of pocket. Customer Care will not help me with this at all.

Amazon pharmacy is a joke
