I was introduced to Pettable by a property manager while looking for my first apartment in Los Angeles and utterly ignorant about ESA policies. While I first got lost on Petable, I eventually realized it's spelled with two "Ts". The platform is super user-friendly for guiding you through everything involved in getting an ESA letter, the professionals are super... professional, and the customer service top-notch. After 18 months of separation due to the COVID pandemic that more or less trapped us on opposite sides of the Pacific Ocean, my wife was finally moving from our home of 15 years in Shanghai, China to join me in a new home in my original hometown of Los Angeles. She had adopted our cat, Qiu Qiu, soon after I first flew back to LA for a family matter, and Qiu Qiu became indispensable to her throughout the COVID lockdowns and as it became apparent I could not easily return to her during the pandemic and was forced to rebase here in LA for work. Qiu Qiu, whom I deem our son, became her ESA in all but name throughout this trying time, and became even more important after we agreed to have her move to America. While she has traveled abroad, she has never faced moving to and living in another country with a significantly different environment, culture, language, and lifestyle. Her anxieties mounted and Qiu Qiu would become a touchstone to help her adapt and acclimate to her new life here in the States. While we would pay whatever pet deposit and monthly pet rent necessary to have our son with us and be that comfort my wife needs, we were overjoyed that we could save a bit of rental money by getting an ESA letter, and Pettable made that process extremely easy. Their site and process educated us on what to do, what forms to complete (easily, online), and connected us with a mental health professional for a time slot that was convenient for my wife then overseas in a different time zone. We were connected with Kara Smith LCSW, with her calling us at 10pm at night as scheduled. She interviewed my wife, during which she actually broke down crying (alarming to me as her husband, to say the least), warned us that there may be an issue with her not yet being in the States (at the time), and escalated to management, who ultimately decided she couldn't issue us an ESA letter until my wife could be reinterviewed while physically in the States. Pettable immediately refunded us the $169 price of the ESA Cat Package, fulfilling the promise on their site. I rebooked for after my wife landed in LAX, was assigned another mental health worker, but I was able to easily chat online with Pettable customer service to request that we be connected with Kara Smith again as I expected her to already be familiar with my wife and our perhaps atypical circumstances. Kara called us at 10pm again at the scheduled time, and only had to talk briefly with my wife to go ahead and write the ESA letter that was soon provided to us via the Pettable platform as a PDF so we could easily provide it to our new landlord/property management. Cannot say good enough things about the entire experience from ease-of-use to professionalism of every human we interacted with. Kara was super sensitive and considerate, even with my wife's less-than-fluent accented English. Their customer service reps Niccky and Agustin were quick to connect to chat online and address my questions and requests painlessly. 11/10 stars, would use again.

I was very pleased with the training. My dog is really responding well and I've become more confident. My therapist was great and I've learned a lot about my rights traveling with my service dog.

The counselor called me on time and was very pleasant. I was nervous about the letter for my new puppy but the provider put me at ease and my landlord accepted the letter! I would definitely use Pettable again and would recommend them.
