I live in colorado. Im a legal resident of Colorado, have an apartment there and everything. I am active duty military and currently on rotation overseas. But once again, a LEGAL RESIDENT of Colorado, reside there permanently but work sent me overseas for a bit. I return stateside in 2 weeks. While on the phone with the therapist she asked if I was okay because I seemed distracted, I informed her that I was fine but if there was a delay it’s because I’m overseas currently. She immediately said she cannot help me since I’m not in Colorado and said it needed to be rescheduled, sent me a link and rescheduled. I am a legal resident of Colorado, have an apartment, car, and life there and am temporarily “living” overseas due to a deployment. It is absolutely insane that I had to reschedule and pay $30. I’ll be back in America in 2 weeks. What is the difference between me being overseas for work temporarily and if I had been on vacation overseas for the week? There isn’t one. I had very very high hopes for this business but I believe now that it is greedy, money hungry people running this company or maybe it was just my therapist. Who knows. A legal resident of a state should be allowed to speak to a therapist regardless of if they are temporarily overseas. I understand you cannot give ESAs over state lines, I wasn’t asking for that. I’ll be in Colorado, I live in Colorado, the ESA is for Colorado. Absolutely would NOT recommend this company to anybody, especially anyone active duty military. I am still going to do this next appointment because I need a therapist and I don’t need my money going to waste but I will be seeking my ESA letter elsewhere.

Don’t bother using pettable unless you already have multiple therapy sessions under your belt. I was thinking this would be used as the therapy session to determine eligibility but clearly not

Therapist was rude and seemed to be in a rush to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. You’d think they would have a little empathy but I felt like I wasn’t heard. I recently experienced a life altering accident but it was clear this was just a quick way for them to make extra money. Told me one of my pets wasn’t eligible (paid the extra pet fee) but I haven’t heard how I’d receive my money back. Will not use this service again in the future.
