Initially this went well, got my letter all was good. However my company requires a verification from the prescriber and in order to get them to send a simple email that ways "yes we provided a letter on x date to x person" you have to pay extra. Seems like a scam for them to just take more money!!!

11/19/2024 did hear from Dennis A. FROM PETTABLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Basically he explained why it's OK that they got 68year old me for two days take home pay AND it was for $194.99, NO CONSULTATION OCCURRED, NO ESA LETTER. -And it was not for the $210 i stated, but it was for $194.99. As stated in original review, BUYER BEWARE!!! PETTABLE WILL CHARGE YOU FOR SERVICES THAT WILL NOT OCCUR, NO CONSULTATION, NO ESA LETTER! -do not throw your hard earned money away like i did 11/15/2024>ORIGINAL REVIEW >Got me for $210 -did everything on line, paid $189, nothing came about, Consultation never occurred and Caitlin was silly enough to send them $19.95 (WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE) to "reschedule" and that never happened. I answered all the questions on the pettable website and it told me I qualify for an ESA letter. Then I got to schedule an appointment with a therapist. This is what showed as a final step. Nothing else is shown as needed. Then my appointment time came and passed. I get a message from the therapist saying forms had to be filled out before the appointment. Isn't this what I did to qualify for the call. Nowhere during the process it told me I need to do that and I am supposed to know this how? So the call was apparently cancelled. Cannot message the therapist, the conversation is automatically archived. And I lost $150. Sounds like a complete scam. If you plan on asking people to further steps show this at the end when they are setting an appointment. No just - your appointment is confirmed, the end. Not everyone checks their emails daily. What a complete scam! Edit: Already spoke with customer service yesterday who only offered a partial refund saying their policy was that if I cancel the call $30 is kept for the therapist, however, I did not cancel the call and the therapist did not spend any time on any call. They initially processed a refund of $119 and now they cancelled it. I asked for a full refund and now no refund has been done. No response from your customer service to my latest email to them. Terrible customer service and a scam! Second Edit: I got only $119 refunded. The reasoning of the customer service is $30 is withheld when the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours before the appointment or if the appointment occurred, none of which apply to my case. Also as far as: "I apologize if the instructions weren’t clear, and I understand how important it is for all necessary steps to be communicated upfront." There were no instructions once the appointment was set. I have the confirmation email that states appointment is confirmed and nothing else was noted as required. Seems like this tactic works and they keep $30 from many people with zero work or service done.

They limit the letters and charge extra for other stuff that others include for cheaper..stay away from them..better service at supportpets

Set up an appointment on my phone but was having issues with the payment processing, it finally seamed like it went through and took me to the forms page. I filled out the forms but in my profile it said I didn't have any appointments upcoming. So I checked my bank and nothing posted or was processing. Reached out to customer support to try to make sure everything was good and Florence canceled my appointment and refunded me back the money. That was no where in my email. She proceeded to tell me if I wanted to make another appointment I would have to go through the whole process again. If the payment is processing through my bank now and I have to pay another 150 dollars then I'll be out 300 until the refund is credited back to me. All she had to do is read and if it wasn't clear reach out and ask. My profile had my email and phone number both attached. My profile has been deleted and now if I want to use Pettable, I have to recreate and go through everything again. Horrible customer support, they are just worried about getting the money and that's it.

Update1_28Sep24: I received a response from their support team offering refund or another appointment with a different therapist. I did choose to receive a refund but have yet to hear back since my reply. I appreciate the quick response to my complaint through their support team. I will update my review pending their response Just spoke with my “therapist” and while my expectations were not too high I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated. While understanding the limitations of the session you receive, the level of professionalism was low. This therapist cut me off more than once, was short with me, and overwhelmingly cold. When asking about why she only approved me for 1 ESA as opposed to my requested 2, she said I don’t meet state guidelines however gave no indication of her “assessment” of me to justify this - how could she possibly know my needs when speaking to me for just 5 minutes of the entitled 15 minute session. I feel mislead and utterly disgusted at even expressing my vulnerability to such a person. Will be pursuing another route direct through my real therapist. Be warned that this is what you get folks when trying to do things for a quick turn around. Will never recommend this process to anyone.

Tried to sign up on website before their "discount" runs out - they give 9 minutes and I waited while my info and credit card # went through - it kept reading "Please wait" Counted down until only :30 seconds left on their timer, Took my info out and looked at their "support" To get help, I had to write an e-mail. Not sure about this service - frustrating to just buy it!

This is 100% a total scam!!!! I paid this company who put me in contact with someone to get my English Bulldog registered as a ESA, after paying the fee and scheduling the appointment I later spoke to someone explaining why I needed a ESA to which I was approved. I was emailed a comforting companions ESA certificate for my bulldog. When I try to use my certificate for housing and other things the same person who gave me the certificate reaches out to me asking for more money to verify to my leasing agent the certificate is real. Why do I have to keep paying more and more money when I try to use my bulldogs ESA certificate? This should be a one time fee and they should verify it is a real certificate if it’s actually real. I will not be giving anymore of my money to the company. Stay away unless you have a lot of money to just throw away!
