The LCSW assigned to me didn’t show up to my appointment/phone call, until I reached out to Pettable customer service. My appointment started about 30 minutes late. When I received my letter, my name was misspelled (both first and last) throughout the letter. It was just poorly written, like a 5th grader wrote it. I asked for it to be edited with my name spelled correctly… a few mistakes were fixed, but not all.
I was able to edit the letter myself to make it true… letter worked for its purpose, but just a poor experience for me from a seemingly-low education provider.

The great thing is the therapists…
The great thing is the therapists hearing your needs and honoring that need.
The reason for lower stars is customer service, which provided me with inaccurate information about my service dog letters. I requested additional letters for the transit system in my area and a work accommodation letter which CS said the therapist could provide. The therapist couldn’t provide those letters. Customer service is misinformed and unhelpful and felt like they were misguiding me. Overall I didn’t really get what I needed.

I needed an updated letter because of certain requirements from my apartment. It was not easy getting in touch with my therapist and I had to have customer service contact him since it was a time sensitive issue. Also having to pay an extra fee was not expected for the updated letter.

Didn't look professional
I haven't had to use the letter so I cant say it is valid. I was also disappointed that the letter wasnt on letterhead. I feel it should look more professional.

The call was late by ~10min and specific details of a traumatic experience were not included in the letter as I’d asked. Otherwise the service was quick and easy.

Expensive But Quick
For the expense, I was disappointed in what I received, but I got what I required at least. Would have rather gotten a long term therapist that could’ve provided me with actual treatment, as well as a letter. But this worked in a pinch (so far, at least). Note that you’ll have to make this a yearly charge, because they include an expiration date on the letter. If you’re getting this because of a landlord, I’d make sure that landlord isn’t going to put up a fuss because then you very well may just be screwed. The letter from Pettable is highly insufficient for any housing agency that wants to keep animals out at all costs. The fact that a second appointment isn’t even covered in the initial $170 charge, when you’re supposed to have at least a month long relationship with a therapist to receive an ESA letter is a big red flag. The therapist I was matched with was very nice, we only spoke for about 10 minutes though, and then she emailed me a letter. That’s all I got for $170. This worked in a pinch (for housing agencies that don’t look too closely), but it’s not something I’d recommend.

Fast, Generic, & Cold
The process itself was streamlined and the service was fast, but the level of care was lacking. For one, it's conducted over a phone call, and in my case the phone call was 15 minutes early from the scheduled time, and I missed it as I was taking a shower. I called back with no answer and then eventually they called back almost half an hour AFTER our scheduled time. The actual call is scheduled as 15 minutes, and my call lasted less than 5 minutes. If your purpose is to get an easy ESA letter to keep your little Fido, it works great, but you're not meaningfully talking about WHY you need your ESA. You're asked a list of questions then you respond and they say "Great I can approve you" instead of sympathizing or talking at all about your feelings, you know, like a therapist is trained to do. The therapist felt like he was rushing and it was evident as I felt nervous to talk too much. You're just checking some boxes so they can legally write you the letter. For $150 for a pretty generic letter with a therapist that wasn't even FROM my State despite Pettable's claims, with the only contact being a 5 minute call and a couple texts, it's insultingly expensive. Overall, I got my ESA letter, and I ended up getting approved for an ESA animal through my university, so it's hard to complain, but I don't think I'll ever use an online ESA service again that just feels like it's preying on people that don't know what else to do and don't want to get rid of their beloved furry friends.

The service works but only care about the money
The service works but they are super pushy for you to upgrade your ESA letter for "verification". I am happy with the service and speed but I feel like it was more of a sale transaction than an actual consultation and therapy.
