Kind of a waste of money as the letter I got was bland and looked obviously meaningless. I got a much better one from a real provider that I will use instead.

Took 2 weeks to get my letter with no real communication from the company, regardless of me reaching out. They kept saying they’d included the therapist to address my concerns but didn’t hear back until the final time 2 weeks later. The only reason it has 2 stars and not 1 is because I was able to successfully use the letter with 2 different landlords.

They were very fast but didnt honor the that paid extra to upgrade from esa to psychiatric assistance animal

I did a lot of research before landing on Pettable- I needed an ESA letter asap and was on a wait list for a new therapist through my usual clinic so I decided to give them a try. The company was easy to work with and the assigned therapist was very nice, but ultimately I would not recommend this service to anyone whose landlord asks follow up questions or wants additional detail. The letter I received was incredibly short, really only providing the bare minimum. They do not put a physical address on the letter and claim that by law a landlord still has to accept it- which I found to be not the case. My landlord and property management company both required a physical address on the letter and called out how even teletherapy services can still provide this through their HQs. Pettable charges extra for any sort of follow up, and the therapist I was matched to called out that she would not be able to provide an address at all. I ended up getting off the waitlist at my clinic and had my actual therapist write the letter free of charge. Pettable was a waste of money for me, and if I had not been able to get a letter through my clinic, I would have been in a bad position. I’d recommend just finding and meeting with a reputable, licensed therapist instead of using this service.

While customer service was responsive and pleasant, the therapist was not responsive. Never replied to my messages, missed our appointment (they charge customers $30 to reschedule but refused to reimburse my time for the therapist ghosting ), and then didn’t fill out the form I requested while on the phone with the rescheduled tour (that I asked NOT be scheduled before 7pm and sure enough, it was…) Support was nice and responsive but refused to offer anything for my time wasted. Thank goodness I didn’t need the paperwork asap. However, once I did get on the phone with the therapist, it was easy and quick. They were also kind and empathetic. Their website once signed up is also very easy to use. But worth the $200 I spent? (They charge $30 for additional documents signed, which is no biggie but with the service I receive?…)… not sure. Also a little fishy I can’t leave a review on the sites with all the 5 star ratings and they removed ratings from their Facebook.. unless my phone is glitching.
