I've taken my dog to Petsmart in El Paso Texas on Numerous occasions, never had any problems until this last time on Monday. I had an 11:30 am appointment, was met by the manager who said she would do the grooming, she said it would take about 2 to 3 hours. I left and about 1 1/2 hours later there was a phone call from the groomer saying our dog was frothing at the mouth, and was having trouble breathing. They said they took her to the Vet. next door in the store. I was very stressed and my wife and I immediately went back to Petsmart to see what had happened. The groomer met us and was telling us the situation and saying she had not done anything wrong. The personnel at the Vet.brought our dog out she was shaking and heaving. The Vet. was not there she had gone to lunch earlier. The Vet returned gave our dog an exam and told us all was fine. The groomer asked if we wanted to have her continue I said NO. I'm now leary of the grooming there at Petsmart. I think they almost drowned my dog. Be AWARE

PetSmart is a substandard grooming salon for dogs. They are lazy and opt only for shaving! Want a real Groomer who uses scissors, loves the dog and treats him or her with respect - Chacha's i. st Catherines and she will come to you!

Every time I go there it’s so sad to look at the fish in the small container where they have no room to swim. Don’t think that’s very pet smart! I wrote and complained to them one person replied that they will review the matter and get back to me which they never did!

Had my dog groomed at the Albany Ga location and my dog left with brush burn and a bacterial infection, first and last time ever using their grooming services.

We took our dog to a PetSmart for grooming for the 1st time today. We booked with Casey at the Norman Oklahoma store, I think Megan may have done the groom but either way they did the worst job imaginable. I am not sure of their training/skills but they have none other than to shave the dogs and she cut his face and head so horrible. A phone call or just to not have done the job at all would have been better than the service and cut we received. We were in shock and received no apology of any kind when we told them how bad it was and was a phone call too much to ask if she had questions or trouble. The response we received was "you signed the paperwork, so we did what we had to do". Horrible customer service. Don't take your pets here for grooming.

I went to pet smart in Fredericksburg va Central Park location...we took our 5 month old yorkiepoo and we showed them pictures and told them what we wanted..they were suppose to cut half his hair...we went to pick him up and they had given him the basic puppy cut where they cut it all low all over with the top ..I don’t know what that was....for now on I’m taking my dog to someone with years of experience on my dog type...hopefully it grows back l8ke it was

We go to Petsmart a lot. I purchased 2 angel fish. Over the next 2 weeks, I lost those 2 fish and 9 of my own. I 6 of them as proof and went into the store. They tested my water, it was almost perfect. The only change is their fish. They refunded me for the 2 I purchased and were like “sorry bout the others” like it was no big deal. I told 3 employees and showed them all the dead fish. Nothing. Since then, I have lost 4 more. They just don’t care that their product destroyed my fish. It’s like starting over since I only have 2 left.

Hi. I have been to Pet Smart a total of 7 times now. I started with 2 finches and 2 parakeets and 3 OF THEM DIED. And the workers there didn't want to refund me. DO NOT GO TO PET SMART TO BUY BIRDS. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Also the amount of stories I've seen on the internet about dogs dying and being injured in the grooming areas is very concerning! I hope this company gets sued and I know PETA is hopefully going to help us in this battle against animal abuse and neglect!!
