I visited the Canyon Rim Pet Smart in Salt Lake City, Utah. I made the appointment 2 1/2 weeks earlier and arrived for my appointment by 1:30. The groomer told me I was 1 minute late and she couldn't do the grooming, as she only had 1 hour left and I wasn't there on-time. She was extremely rude. My sister was with me to witness this exchange. Neither of us will every use this location again. We are making a formal complaint to the Store Manager. REALLY!

Took my dog to PetSmart on 610 West in Houston for grooming. I called first because I am 80 years old and in isolation do to covid-19. I was told they would pick up the dog at the curb and then bring her back out when finished. I arrived at the store and let the phone ring for over 20 minutes and no one answered. I've been got out of my car and went into the store wearing 2 masks of course. The groomer, Daniel, was a little snarky as I asked why no one would come out. I have a 6 pound Bichon poo and I explained my grooming needs for her which included cutting the hair out of her ears, cutting her hair to approximately one inch, not to cut her tail and to groom her face as a bichon poo. To my horror, when I picked up the dog I again had to go inside the store in order to pay. I had to go into the grooming shop, get an invoice, stand in line at the cash register and pay, and then pick up my dog. I was very anxious and grabbed her and left. She had been shaved, her tail has been cut short, her eyes were not cleaned, her ears were not cleaned of the hair, and the top of her head had a dent(?) And she looked terrible. I realized when I got home that I have been charged $89. Why? My little dog is also very nervous since the grooming. She has never had issues before at the groomers.

I've been here on the occasion I need supplies. But I'm always disgusted by what I see. The animals live in small, cramped cages with poor ventilation. I hear sneezes, wheezes and coughs every time I walk by. Animals meant for company are kept alone, or vice versa. The employees know very little, if anything, about the animals. Fish that breed easily, like guppies and mollies, are in tanks together regardless of gender, apparently. I see babies swimming around next to female fish round as cherries, ready to pump out more, and next to them are the endlessly courting males, giving the females no choice. This store is incompetent and disgusting.

UPDATE ON 12/03/2020: As of now, this company their partners in crime Pet Smart has not paid our electrical services. They keep asking for more documentation and keep rejecting them all. this update is to add that several business owners has contacted out officers to verify if we received payment as they are being contacted by Ferrandino and Son to do works. We shared our experiences with them and we recommend them NOT do to business with Ferrandino and Son, and/or Pet smart. PREVIOUS REVIEW: We're in the process of "dealing" with this unethical, unprofessional and scammer company. Although we haven't finish the investigation we requested to Pet Smart, we recommend NO TO DO business with Ferrandino and Son. We read all the reviews and we didn't though those issues could happen to us, but it happened. Every single complain from other vendor is 100% true. Ferrandino and Son DOES NOT pay their vendors, they will go around asking you to submit paperworks and vague proof of your job even when they were not part of your scope of work, and them they will reject them all and keep asking you for more. Another complain that is 100%, the account manager and procurement WILL NOT respond your calls because they know what their company is doing. Again, business owners, please DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Eventually, they will be reported to the State Attorney for an investigation.

Honestly, I am not sure what kind of brain if people working @ Petsmart Corp. The experience with Petsmart online service is totally awe full. First, Petsmart online order is very slow in provers so you cannot pick up the online order stuffs in time. Second: They only give you 3 days to pick up online order. Seriously? Petsmart products are really that hot? If so, how come Petsmart financial is not impressive? Third: I really think PetSmart should reorganize its online order team to be more competitive & efficient.. Or I just can see this company will not last long.

Ordered 3 items online. They were too small . I called customer service and said returning is not a problem. We will email you a return label. I said great! I received email with the return address to ship to. Cost me $14.00 to return a $52.00 order. The order was returned and received November 23. Still no refund and every email has requested tracking which I have sent with each email. Never again. I will stick with Chewy, better pricing and outstanding customer service.

$106 dollar food/reptile light order was lost by their carrier FedEx. They should have done more research and chose a better carrier that doesn't have a history of losing/mis-delivering packages. Their website is having "technical difficulties" so I still have not received a refund or refund confirmation e-mail. Disappointed to say the least. Order#: 42226080

I went to the Gulfport Ms store because I have a problem with my cat. So after speaking to a couple people who work there the only way to help us if I bring what is essentially a wild cat in for examination. When I asked about the overpriced prescription food they said that unless you’re pet is brought in for examination that I’m not allowed 🚫 to buy that prescription food. So it appears that unless I’m prepared to spend 500 dollars or more on an examination of what I already know then nobody wants to help me out. After looking at the ingredients on their highly inflated prescription only food I went back on the isles and looked at what was in the regular price cat food ingredients and guess what it’s virtually the same as what’s in their overpriced prescription food. After leaving the pet smart store I went and asked a local vet if there was any special prescription food for older cats. I was essentially told that pet smart (ass) was blowing smoke up my butt so that they could rip me off for stuff that wouldn’t do a damn thing for my cat. The vet said just buy the stuff off the shelf formulated for older pets. The Gulfport Ms pet smart used to care about customers but now it’s caring about the dollars sorta like our soon to be ex president. What a shame because it used to be a good store!
