I took my fur baby to them on yesterday, September 2, 2021 and believe you me, my Pomsky is jacked up. They shave all her hair off and she looks a mess. This is my first and last time ever using Petsmart for any of my furbaby needs...I am so upset, and when I called they act as if nothing was wrong and to bring her back, bay please you can keep that horrible service to yourself....Never take you fur baby to those people!!!

Couldn't find a place to write a review on Eddie the trainer at Petsmart Albuquerque, Academy. We scheduled a training session for our 2yr old Airdale. When we got there Eddie was rude, arrogant and insulting. Our airdale is about 75 lbs and excited when she goes to new places. Eddie told me if she was pulling on the leash he would not train her. He said he does not train dogs with bad behavior. He sprayed her face with Pet Corrector and she was not doing anything. He was showing off possibly to a female employee that was there observing. He said the South Valley is known for people with bad behavior. He said he was raised there but his parents taught him good behavior ( I would say his parents failed). We need to teach our dog good behavior before he would train her. We have trained our dog with other trainers and she is not unruly. We just wanted to work on her jumping and pulling on the leash. She did not go in the store barking or out of control. There was a lady with her small dog there she mentioned to socialize her with other dogs. I shared that we took our dog to doggie day care once a week. Eddie said day care dogs are losers. They are wild dogs that no one wants so they take them to dog care or dog parks. He said he and another trainer from Acoma were the only good trainers in Albuquerque. So I guess the other trainers at Petsmart are not good. We called the person with keys that evening, customer service and my husband also called Corporate. We spoke with the assistant manager, store manager and they were very apologetic. However they would not to what we asked and that was to have Eddie apologize to me and my husband. We were refunded our money but that was it. We will not every shop at any Petsmart in Albuquerque or in U.S. So if your dog is not already trained don't take it to Eddie! He only trains dogs with good behavior. Eddie obviously does not know breeds. Airdales are strong and stubborn dogs but very loyal and smart. Our fur baby is doing great and we are thankful that she did not attend Eddie's class. You can read the reviews on their webpage they are all 5 starred. I tried to write a review but could not. It is controlled by them. Eddie is the worst employee I have ever dealt with and If he was the best trainer he would be known. Cesar Milan is known and he deals with dogs that have bad behavior. My husband and I believe in treating others with respect and do not like confrontation. However I believe Eddie poorly represents himself as a trainer and a Petsmart employee.

We did our puppy's training here. Very good experience. Also booked the grooming session Top pup plus. They didn't do his nails and trim properly. I called them and said they will call me back to book another appointment. Let's see how this goes.

I recently rated PetSmart Grooming a one star. I was contacted by PetSmart to resolve they had since went above and beyond to resolve. I have taken my puppy back for grooming, he enjoys experience and he's happy when I pick him up. Thank you manager staff and groomers. Teresa of Stockton, CA

If I could give o stars I would. I ordered prescription dog food for my lab on 9/18. 10 days later I still don't have it . I called 2 days ago to have it reshipped, still not shipped. Almost out of food. Back to Petco.

I love PetSmart. And all you soothsayers don’t realize that the vet and the groomer are separate entities from the store itself. To all the Karens out there (except those who are Karens who aren’t expecting the impossible), get your facts straight. I love this store. Aside from a few items I’ve gotten from Amazon, this is my go-to for pet supplies… which is all one should write about in a pet store. My animals I’ve bought from PetSmart have all been extremely healthy as well. Also, you can comparison price there, so if you find your food cheaper somewhere else… well, you get it for that price!

If I could give zero I would. 888-839-9638 customer service line has some of the stupidest people answering the phones I have ever talked too. Complete waste of time after speaking with 3 different people. Dumb, dumber and dumbest! I wasn’t even asking for anything difficult but they couldn’t get the job done. Off to Petco I go!

Took my dog for grooming, the groomer was Ashley. When I picked her up my dog was half way done. She claimed she could not finish her because she was too nervous. My dog looked awful. Tried not to make a big deal out of it. She had started cutting her hair and left her half done. She asked me to reschedule to a day when the store was less noisy. Had to reschedul and when I returned, they've failed to mention that her vaccine had expired. So my dog was looking crazy for over 2 months because my clinic was booked. I took her to Petco, after the vaccination where I got the exact same service with more experiengroomer that can deal with all kinds of dogs personality and they're way cheaper. And my dog looked amazing. My groomer told me she had no problem whatsoever.
