I want to thank you for being so helpful when I called. You were great to work with and answer all my questions. Great job.

I adopted my dog from a rescue. He already had a microchip which was registered with PetKey. When I called to transfer my dog's microchip, the person I dealt with was very polite and efficient. She told me the charge would be $79, which seemed rather high, but I wanted my dog registered to me in case he was ever lost. I didn't realize I was paying for a lighted collar and leash, id cards etc. which I will never use. All I wanted to do was register my dog's microchip in my name. The person I dealt with did not adequately explain that she was selling me more than just changing the registration for my dog. (One month later) ALTHOUGH I WAS UNHAPPY WITH MY INITIAL EXPERIENCE WITH PETKEY, I DID RECEIVE AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE FROM THE ABOVE REVIEW AND THE MONEY I PAID WAS REFUNDED. I OFFERED TO RETURN THE MERCHANDISE BUT WAS TOLD TO KEEP IT. SINCE I WON’T USE THESE ITEMS, I WILL DONATE THE LIGHTED COLLAR AND LEASH TO THE LOCAL HUMANE SOCIETY.

Hopefully I don’t need their service! But I think it’s worth it, some insurance if my pup gets lost!

Steve was so very nice with getting my Rottweiler her lifetime membership on September 17th. A few days later he helped me out in getting a chip transferred into my name on the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog that I adopted on September 18th.

Our pup passed away within 2 days of signing up at Pet key. I called and canceled, out of the 150$ dollars they returned 100 $. The small metal tag was not worth 50 $. I didn't expect 100% back but to keep 1/3 was a bit much. If I had only signed up for one year for 19·99 that's all it would have cost. I personally will not use them again. After posting this review pet key has now refunded 100% of the purchase price. Thank you.
