The customer service was great. Unfortunately we were not told the chip we purchased had to be registered. Thus costing twice as much as the chips for our others did from our previous vet. Do not get this wrong as we like our new vet but the communication was blown on this one.

I knew I wanted to have my new puppy chipped, I was glad her vet suggested inserting it while she was under for her spay. I found it a bit confusing when it came time to pay for it. As it was not part of the veterinary services, I had to first register with petlink.net to register the number, but when I had to pay to a different company, Petkey, I was suspicious that I was being redirected to a scam. It would have been more helpful if the vet had a print out of instructions of the steps to take that named the websites so I would know what to expect. And that when I was on the petlink page, that too would have stated I would be paying through Petkey.
