Brought my cat over from the UK. She had to have a pet passport, microchip, and international inoculations for starters. Once here, her chip is still active, but did not correlate with any north american providers. gave petkey her microchip number and they found it instantly in an international register. Now my girl is registered in 2 countries and is registered to her current address.

The purchasing and registering were very easy. So far we haven't had to use it. Love the fact that he's chipped just in case he does get lost

Since this is my first pet, I don't have too many experiences if my pet is running away from me or my home. Although if someone find the pet(s), they will bring it to the vet or any vet clinics or adoption places to scan and send alert to the owner(s). As we see there, do you trusts the person who find your pet(s) and bring to the vet? Suggestion for future development: I think Petkey's Foundation may need to have some sort of built in GPS and subscription based with live tracking/GPS, so I, as a pet owner(s), feel more safer if my pet is running away or being lost in the middle of road. I can use their website and track my pet if necessary.
