I contracted with the Pella Showroom in Monroe, Ct. to install 13 Pella replacement windows. Several of the windows were installed in rotting wood left from the old windows and were not repaired as promised, as they should have been. The insulation job was hastily done and resulted in foam insulation on the exposed parts of the windows. Some windows were left with large voids. The installers scarred several walls and left a messy work area. This should not have happened with the cost of the installation. When I called the dealer, they never returned my call. A call to Pella customer service resulted in a hang-up. Should have gone with Andersen. I'm actually surprised that Pella is still in business.

Pella windows can refund my $30,000 dollars. Before I take legal action No show on installation dates loss time from work faulty Installation on new windows. Wrong size windows measured. New windows leaking and fogging. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY BEFORE YOU BUY CONTACT ME OF ABOUT THE NIGHTMARE

We have used Pella Windows and Doors for decades! Every house we have owned had Pella products and Pella Service people were so great to come out yearly and perform a "Tune-Up" on our windows and doors to keep them working well. Recently we decided that our 40 year old Log Cabin was feeling very drafty even after replacing the furnaces and AC Units. We decided to Replace All of our 40 year old Pella Windows and doors. We cannot believe the difference. No more drafty cold areas. Pella Sales Rep Zach knew exactly what we needed. He worked with the installers Jim & Nathan and got us scheduled. We're laughing because today is October 12 and they have beautifully finished the job on the same day they were scheduled to start the 2 week installation. Pella Products are Exceptional. Sales Rep knew exactly how to provide us correct products to install. The Installers were Professional, Neat and Clean and with little or no disturbance to our home furnishings. Thank you Pella! I would give you 25 Stars if they would let me! PLUS THEY OFFERED 24 MONTHLY PAYMENTS SAME AS CASH! Warm Regards, Rick & Katherine Campbell

4-5 years ago, I spent nearly $100,000 to install all new Pella windows and doors in my house. Today, when it rains, all three of my Pella sliding glass doors leak. These leaks have caused significant damage to my home. A Pella service person recently came out to inspect the problem and determined the seal around the glass on the doors has failed. He said that 8 of the 12 glass panels (4 panels per door) in the doors need to be “reglazed”. That’s a 67% fail rate in a relatively short time. Pella just informed me I’ll need to pay $500 per glass panel to have them reglazed since they only carry a 2-year warranty for labor. The warranty to reglaze only carries a 1-year warranty. Based on my experience, I would steer away from Pella. In all the homes I’ve owned I’ve never had such a problem. Not even with old windows. But to have this kind of problem with a relatively new product, and then have to pay to fix the product, is downright unacceptable.

I called 5 of the 6 phone numbers given, 2 text sessions, 2 Chat sessions trying to get parts for my LIFETIME door under warranty. After 4 hours, NOTHING was resolved. The chat session knew exactly my reason for being frustrated with them, After seeing so many low ratings for a once quality company, it's time for them to close the doors and put people out of a job. Horrible service on a poorly built product. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!

FYI, be aware that if you're buying Pella windows for your new home, the clock starts ticking on your 2-year labor warranty when they're delivered to the builder, not when you take possession of your new home. We discovered damaged seals on some of our windows and reported them, but because they were delivered to the builder 8 months before the home was finished and we were beyond the two-year anniversary of that date, they won't honor the 2-year labor warranty. Awful customer service!

Pella storm door is locked shut because the locking pins (not the normal latch - the two locking pins) will not retract from the jamb. There is no way to retract them even with the whole handset disassembled. I can get NO information or response from Pella (they are always "assisting other customers"). We plan to bash the door open with a seldge hammer and buy another brand of door.

1 year and the job still isn't done! Pella Windows and Doors may boast about the quality of their products and the expertise of their installers, but their project coordination and communication leave much to be desired. While their windows and doors may be top-notch, their ability to manage a project is anything but. The project coordination was an absolute disaster. When problems arose during the installation, Pella's communication was utterly unhelpful. It was like pulling teeth to get a straight answer or any semblance of accountability. The frustration reached its peak when we tried to reach out to their customer service department. Our complaints fell on deaf ears, and we were left feeling like nothing more than an inconvenience. While their products may be of decent quality, Pella's inability to effectively manage a project and communicate with customers tarnishes any positive aspect of their company. Pella Windows and Doors have failed to live up to their promises, and we will never make the mistake of dealing with them again.
