The experience was amazing (I was an online only student). I felt like for the first time I was truly understanding medicine and how to talk myself through a question or problem towards the not only correct solution but why it was the correct one. This program reinvigorated my love of medicine after failing STEP 1 and being left in a grey area of my education. It also gave me back my confidence that it wasn't that I was unable to pass the exam, I just needed to learn how seek out what the test makers were looking for. I am extremely glad my school recommended this program for me.

Messy lectures with such poor use of time during teaching... Every 20 minutes its a 10 minute tangent that VERY loosely relates to the topic... This makes it impossible to filter out the useful information from the useless stories being told - some are great examples that can help remember the material (like 1in 5) but it's impossible to reel Dr. Francis back in when he starts a story. It's a tough situation because you don't want to be disrespectful by telling him to go back to the topic please, because at the same time you feel like you and your time are not being respected. Also constantly disregarded start/end times, and the online option also feels like a tack-on for extra money since it's a hassle to even ask a single question. Also... if you have to mention HOW much the program will change my thinking SO many times (at least 3 minutes every half day), it makes me question... There's way too much self-tooting of the horn during lecture that makes it seem disingenuous. Truthfully, this is not the caliber of program I was expecting for $2000 and I will be actively recommending against it. The program hurt me more than helped me by convincing me this was a good use of 6-8hrs/day. I should have just done the 1 week review of Divine Intervention podcasts instead, would've been better than this.

I am not exaggerating when I say that Dr. Francis has changed the way that I approach information. I had been struggling in medical school and then with my boards until I bit the bullet and enrolled in the PASS program. Dr. Francis emphasizes patterns and clues and to not dilly dally over questions where you eventually convince yourself to change your answer. This is exactly the kind of learning that I had been missing during my didactics and something that I wish I had done sooner. The day of my exam, I genuinely felt a lot better about the questions and understood what they were asking. I highly recommend this program to anyone struggling with boards studying.

Dr. Francis and the pass program helped me during a very difficult time and helped me gain the confidence to succeed. After joining lectures and morning questions I felt prepared to sit for STEP 1 and passed on my first attempt. If you’re feeling stuck with your studies I recommend PASS program because it truly helped me understand medicine and love it even more !

PASS program did an amazing job at teaching students foundational medicine, test-taking strategies, and personal improvement. If you follow the advice of this class and keep up with lectures, you will improve your Step/COMLEX score regardless of where you started. Dr. Francis is one of the best professors I have encountered. His passion for medicine keeps you engaged during lecture and his method of delivering information allows students to understand difficult concepts. The tutors at PASS were amazing at guiding my study plan and answering questions I had. They were also a crucial part of my success. Overall, this is the most ideal program that will take you through every step of MD/DO board exams. Take advantage of everything it has to offer. Consider in-person experience like how I did. This class offers so many resources at a bargain and the knowledge you gain is invaluable.

Life Changing course. Dr. Francis's mission to truly educate is working and days of brute memorization are gone once he teaches you the concepts. I have tried other prep programs and unfortunately none of them helped. I'm so thankful that that I found the Pass Program and can finally move on to the next phase.
