I waited until I took STEP 1 before I wrote this review and I PASSED! I don't know where I would be if not for Dr. Francis. This was my first time taking STEP, but I had been struggling through COMP for longer than expected. Each lecture in the 5-wk course empowered me in small ways that ultimately diversified my thinking, and made me realize that those seemingly small knowledge points were broader than I imagined. Of course, I was dubious at first, but as I started applying the skills to practice questions, the concepts were making sense. I was mind-blown at how much my school neglected to teach me. It was clear that all those small points were connected, conditions/diseases that I thought were isolated were actually related, and just by understanding one thing, I could apply it to something else. Gradually, I noticed the questions weren't so intimidating anymore. The PASS program gave me an understanding of the concepts that will follow me in the future. I had so many aha moments, that it wasn't even funny anymore. I'm SO grateful that I had the opportunity to participate in this program. The 5 weeks were rushed and I had a hard time staying awake to digest the information at times, but it was worth it and truly beneficial. The lectures themselves were engaging and sometimes funny (when he threw in a story) and the interactive questions were more important than I thought. I also had a great experience with the one-on-one tutors, being able to discuss questions with them helped me retain the information better. In addition to that, I reviewed the PP clues with a study buddy and although we didn't stay within the 1hr time they recommended, I think it really helped us to devote a little more time to them as we incorporated related concepts.

"The Profound Pass Program!!"
This program was and is amazing!! I went from knowing nothing and being so lost when I would hear a certain diagnosis or treatment to having a clue on just about anything. When Dr. Francis says that physiology makes everything make sense, that is no understatement but the gospel truth! I can now keep up with my colleagues and reason through concepts that a year ago I would have no clue how to do. I unfortunately took step before the Pass program and did not pass it, and then after 8 months of study with the Pass Program as a foundation, I passed it the second time and the exam felt easy. I will now start third year this summer and feel so much more confident going into it than I did last year before my leave. It's the truth when I say that you go from not having a clue, to being able to reason through disease processes you have never even heard of, it is the truth!!! Don't think that the med school made a mistake in admitting you, they didn't, and don't think you're not smart enough for this career, because that's not true either, the truth is, all the smart individuals take the Pass Program!!!

AMAZING!!
The Pass Program is just amazing. Dr Francis and the whole Pass family are all PHENOMENAL. When I came to the program, I was not on a good path and mindset to take boards. However, I found everything I needed in the program. Structure, support, motivation and wonderful testimonies. The morning questions were great, classes were phenomenal: I have never been taught like Dr Francis teaches. His teaching style is phenomenal and incredibly interactive. I’ve learned more in 5 weeks than I’ve done in years. Thank you so much Dr Francis, Thank you Pass family!!

Dr Francis’ genuine care comes through…
Dr Francis’ genuine care comes through in making sure his students understand the material for the long term as well as gaining the confidence and practice needed for their short term struggle, passing their tests.
No matter there background and past circumstances!
You do feel part of the PASS program team, that includes not only your classmates, but also the instructor supporting and invested in your success…in contrast to the feeling of cog in capitalist wheel in other commercial test prep programs.

This program helps me to actually think…
This program helps me to actually think and which then translates into critical analysis for board questions. This was not a scheme but an actual vital resource. No cute memorizations or shortcuts but actual knowledge. I wish I would have done this sooner.

Laughed so hard I cried, watched the broken rise, forever grateful. A new bar has been set. Thank you
I cannot say enough about the benefit this program has given me... it was more than step preparation. I saw how 1 attending, who chose to save a resident on academic probabtion, not only saved that student, but "empowered" a beast of a physician. Then a ripple effect occurred as said student paid it forward, leading to thousands of students being personally taught by a doctor who treated them as an equal, rebuilt them, and then we get to watch them blow away attendings.
Almost every morning, a student will zoom call in. They have just cleared a hurdle...and we celebrate with them.. Less than a month ago, a former student did a zoom call and told her story. She was unable to pass step1, was dismissed by her school . She said that, "Dr. Francis called her dean to keep her, saying, Give me a chance to save her..I can save her."
Prior to coming here, I have never seen nor heard of any academic organization calling a medical dean to petition on behalf of a student... nor believed that the dean would take their call... but I have seen it happen several times here. Something is different.
Coming from a Caribbean school where more than half of my colleagues are eliminated, it felt like academia was trying to eliminate anyone who might lower step 1 pass rate before they can test. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful my school accepted me, but I was afraid in constant fear of being pushed out.
Sorry for the tangent, back to the zoom call. This former passprogram student managed to passed step1, did a little better on Step 2, and just roled over a 600+ on step3; 350 is passing on step3. She was just accepted into cardiology... tears of joy for her and excited for my turn.
We see former students do this every week; the broken rise and become successful. We watch it happen over and over again. They were in worse situations than I could have imagined. Listening to these stores light a fire in me and begin to believe in myself again.
Thank you Dr. Shah for the seed you planted in this man who continues to fight for struggling students and has changed the life of thousands of medical students
Prior to PassProgram, i had some setbacks with academics, my physical health, and life situations. However, My situation was manageable..., but I didn't manage it well
I kept thinking that i could do it by without a program, but the multiple situations kept slowing my progress and I was never ready to write the exam.
A colleague in London recommended passprogram to me saying, "It is what we should have done the last semester of basic science for step prep." I didn't think it could really make that much of a difference. I had paid 3 tutors to help me prepare for step 1 and made limited progress... and paying for 14hrs to medical students to tutor me was more expensive than the 160hrs we spent with Dr Francis in 5 weeks. Eight hours lectures/day taught by a comedian. The time flew
I stopped studying and passprogram tutors and my colleagues, would reach out to me and kept bringing me back to pass for morning questions. This program, the environment and support of this community is why I am still moving forward...
I love that we get taught how to practice medicine... we are taught to see how systems link and the common patterns of disease.
How to organize our mind... how to read vignettes so the exam writers can't jerk you around with answer choice....
Looks like I repeat myself to some degree below about another recent students experience... gonna leave it. Gotta get back to the books
I absolutely love the testimonies after morning questions.. those that had been dismissed by their school and the way Dr. Francis fought for them.
He rebuilds their confidence and organizes their mind... they tell their journeys and they match into residencies that their dean tells them no way because she failed step1 3 times... then they get 14 interviews and match, the tutors fight for you too... I don't know that I love champaign... but I am grateful for passprogram, it's environment, and the way Dr. Francis is so dedicated to his students...always building them and class is like being taught by a stand up comedian. I have never laughed so hard. .. then he ties it in or teaches how to blow away the attending by foundational knowledge and how to extrapolate it...
How to think bigger than the text book answer...to question the text book. Look for potential financial agendas
Grateful for the lessons learned here and exemplar treated struggling students as an equal... as he too was in a similar situation.
If you are broken, distracted, struggling, or studying alone... This place helped me regained my footing, focus, and moved forward again.
Wishing you all the best chasing your dreams. You can do it: the greater the battle, the sweeter the success.
Thank you Dr. Francis
Thank you tutors and colleagues

A huge thank you to Dr Francis
A huge thank you to Dr. Francis he truly changed my life! The pass program not only teaches you how to succeed in taking board exams but it also teaches you how to think like a doctor and how to impress your preceptors!
I have been with the program for my step2 and now I am back to take step3. I achieved a 26 point improvement between my step1 score and my step2 score and regained my confidence which helped me fulfill my dream of matching into OBGYN residency, all thanks to Dr. Francis and his team of amazing tutors!
Now, I highly recommend all medical students to just go attend the class and see for themselves how much more organized they will become and how their scores will boost so high!
