Before I started the PASS program, I was miserable and was even considering leaving medicine because I wasn’t able to make sense of or retain any of the information that I learned from other popular Step 1 sources (I won’t name any names, but I’m sure most people are aware of the standard triad of sources used to study for Step 1). Before PASS, I felt like I was memorizing random factoids, just to get a sample question about another random factoid that I hadn’t committed to memory. I could study for an indefinite period of time and STILL not know all the little details that were being tested. I was so frustrated every day and dreaded studying for Step, because what was the point? I even thought I didn’t belong in medicine because I felt so uninspired and overwhelmed. I wondered to myself, how will I treat my future patients if I hate studying this? As a last resort, I decided to try the PASS program. From Day 1 of Dr. Francis’s teaching, I started making connections, seeing patterns, and understanding things on a whole different level than the past two years of medical school and two months of dedicated Step prep combined. This course is what I was praying for! All of my doubts resolved instantaneously, and I knew that medicine is right for me — I had just been going about it the wrong way. I went from hating studying to actually look forward to waking up (even at 6 am) to learn more. Dr. Francis is an amazing teacher with a beautiful soul. He is driven with great purpose and cares so much for his students. He answers everyone’s questions, engages all his students, and works overtime to help his students. After a time zone conflict for some students in the PST time zone, he provided everyone in class with both a morning AND evening questions session, working everyday from 7:30 am to 6 pm out of care for his students. If you resonate with anything I have said so far, and are looking for a program that will not only help you with your Board preparation, but also with your lifelong career as a doctor, do not hesitate to take Dr. Francis’s program. You won’t regret it.

Dr. Francis' patterns are the best! Only thing for 4 stars is we didn't know we had Saturday classes, I had to miss most of them since I had previous commitments. Felt a little too quick and had very little time to review notes for that same reason. Other than that, program has great content, morning questions were really helpful to improve my performance in the qbanks. I am so happy with what I have learned so far, and all the connections between subjects I have been able to do thanks to Dr. Francis' method of teaching.

I am forever grateful to Dr. Francis and the pass program for my growth as an upcoming physician in this country. I believe the program not only helped me pass the Usmle but built my confidence and faith in myself as a physician and gave me lifelong friends. This program was essential to my roadmap to residency and I wouldn’t be where I am without it. The way I view medicine has been simplified and changed forever. I am indebted to Dr. Francis for his Grace, faith and expertise.

I thought the environment at pass was very supportive and is the best place to be literally to do usmle step exams.
