Poor Managment, Sent Wrong part, Parts not OEM as promised.
#1. At check out shipping time 4 to 7 days. Order was confirmed May 15. Order received June 4. #2 I ordered a Yamaha G series propeller, I received an R series propeller Not OEM as promised but rather a prop made by precision propeller who I called and is no longer in business. #3 I was told via email the extra shipping time was due to Yamaha had to ship the prop to Parts Vu and then it will be shipped to me. Unless Yamaha ships non OEM product build by others. I was lied to or the person who said that doesn't know what's going on. There is a lack of or very poor management at Parts Vu. I won't be surprised if the return process get as fkd up as their shipping. I would not advise using Parts Vu not with my experience. There is just to many discrepancies in one simple order to say Parts Vu is trustworthy. In one email the writer said she could confirm Yamaha was sending the prop to Parts vu. SINCE WHEN DOES YAMAHE SHIP ANYTHING NOT YAMAHA? Furthermore they sent an R series I ordered a G series. So i cant even use it and no adapter is made. Just a big pain Parts Vu is. Going back to the Yacht supply company ive used in the past. They have knowledge and expertise and most importantly integrity.

Yamaha, like many major manufacturers, does not physically manufacture every individual component that carries the Yamaha name. Many manufacturers work with approved suppliers to produce specific products while meeting their engineering specifications and quality standards. This is common practice throughout the marine industry and does not mean a product is not a genuine Yamaha product. Regarding the propeller you received, we want to clarify that we did not send an R Series propeller, as an R Series Yamaha propeller does not exist. The propeller shipped was the Yamaha G Series propeller that was ordered. Additionally, G Series propellers do not come with a pressed-in hub. Depending on the propeller model and application, a separate hub kit may be required. We are sorry there was confusion regarding the required components for your installation. We provide as much product information as possible, but we do rely on customers to confirm their application and required components or reach out to our knowledgeable team prior to ordering if they need assistance selecting the correct setup.
