We completely understand your disappointment, especially after being given conflicting information regarding the availability and shipping of the part. You are correct that we could not expedite something we did not have in stock. Unfortunately, this particular item was on national backorder with Yamaha, which was outside of our control. We’re sorry for the frustration caused by the shipping times and communication, and we’d like to clarify a few things regarding your orders. I do see two orders from you. While we stock thousands of Mercury maintenance parts in our facility, the particular parts you purchased were not common-stock items and had to be sourced directly from Mercury. It’s not that we don’t want to drop-ship these orders. Unfortunately, Mercury does not ship these particular parts directly to customers, which is one of the reasons they maintain their dealer network. This information, including the expected shipping time, was relayed to the email address on file for both orders. Regarding our weekend customer service, you are correct that our team is not available on weekends. We strongly value work-life balance and want our employees to have the opportunity to spend weekends with their families. Additionally, our carriers typically do not provide standard business-class pickups on weekends, so weekend operations generally would not change the shipping timeline. We’re very sorry if this process has been frustrating. We appreciate your business and your feedback, and we’ll continue working to improve our communication and set clearer expectations around special-order and manufacturer-sourced parts. Hi Jon We’re sorry you’re upset with the outcome, and we understand your frustration. The website did not indicate fitment, nor did customer service. Once a propeller has been installed and used, we are unable to accept it as a return. It would not be fair to another customer to receive a part represented as “new” when it has already been installed. We’re also saddened that the fitment information was not confirmed before the propeller was installed. Outboard parts are not one-size-fits-all, and even within the same horsepower range, propeller fitment can vary by exact model, year, gearcase, and application. While you state that our website specifically indicated this propeller fit your motor, the listing does not identify your specific horsepower or your particular Pro XS model as a compatible application. This is why we strongly encourage customers to verify fitment before installation, and our team is always happy to assist with that process. We are absolutely willing to help point you in the right direction and find the correct propeller for your Pro XS. Unfortunately, because the propeller has already been installed, we cannot accept the return. We hope you have a great day, and we are here to help even if you dont purchase from us.

We are currently in boating season, and we are experiencing higher-than-normal call volume, which can result in longer wait times. We do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Regarding your return, an RMA was provided to you via text message, and we also followed up by email. The RMA email was sent to the email address we have on file, as part of our standard return process. There is no additional email authorization required on your end.
