Excellent tool. It has made my meetings efficient and saved me a lot of time. I. the past, I used to have someone taking notes - that’s no longer the case. I highly recommend it.

I am a freelance writer who uses Otter to transcribe interviews. I record interviews using Google voice, then upload the file to Otter. I find the accuracy of transcription to be about 90 to 95%, depending on how clearly the interviewee is speaking and whether they have an accent. I find the ability to start and stop the recording as I read the transcription to be very helpful as I'm writing. I would recommend it. This review was collected as part of a promotion, but the review is my own.

This is a game changer tool for work. I use Otter.ai to assist with all of my meetings. It logs the call and you can use the AI for questions DURING the call. If you missed something, you can look back at the transcript or ask the AI tool to summarize. If you forget anything, it's easy to find what you're looking for. It summarizes next steps and follow up emails beautifully, and makes sure no detail is left behind. I never show up unprepared to customer calls anymore, and it is much easier to be present during the call instead of taking notes in a rush. This has been truly valuable to me.

Otter.ai has made a tremendous impact on meetings. I know I can trust that notes are taken well and the screenshots it does are great! So far action items have been on point and audio has been perfect. Coworkers have started using it as well and sometimes we have multiple otter.ai note takers attending meetings. Such an invaluable tool!

I highly recommend Otter.ai!! I use it all the time.  I record my meetings in person, on Zoom, even just my own notes and reminders.  The audio is very clear.  One time I was having a meeting at a noisy place. Got everyone okay to record with Otter.ai.  Once I turned it on, I asked everyone again if I could record this meeting with them.  Each person said yes, and said their name.  When I listened to the call later, I was so surprised how clear the recording of each person's conversation was.  Amazing program.  Highly recommend it.  At first, when I heard of it a years ago, I was very skeptical about it.  I then saw someone using it at a luncheon when the speaker was far away speaking.  I watched how fast the Otter was transcribing as the speaker was speaking over the mic!  When I started to use it in 2024, I totally fell in love with it. I now absolutely won't have a meeting without my Otter.ai.  Use it.  I paid for a 6000 minutes package and it is doing great.  Also, I love the summary and the list of tasks as discussed in the meeting.  Wow!  I am so impressed with Otter.ai.  Can't stop sharing how much I love it. I like the options available - good balance between allowing people to make use of free version and making paid version a step up. The word identification is quite good and I love the question/summarizing features for after the recording is done. I use it as a student and it's been quite helpful in that sense.

I've used Otter for years and it's helped me be way more efficient and saved me hours of time a year.

I love Otter.ai. I use it to transcribe my user research interviews and it saves me so much time when taking notes and doing my analysis. Otter.ai's chat functions are super helpful by giving me a high level summary of conversations and pulling impactful quotes. Its tools for synthesizing and summarizing multiple conversations could be better but I know it's improving.
