Original grain, limited life span
I recieved a Limited Edition Original Grain watch in late 2017. The day of the week display has stopped advancing and is stuck. The date occasionally has the same problem. I also need a new watchband that matches the original. A reputable jeweler I have used for watch repairs in the past said the parts needed would have to come from the company that made the watch. Original Grain promptly informed me they no longer have parts for the watch (valued on Ebay today for $750 and, I suspect, originally cost about twice that). Is it standard practice in the watch business to not support its expensive product with repair options? Does anyone know of other options?
