Had mine 10 months and only wore it to church, the top of the bezel broke off (the wood ring) reach out to them and they said the only thing the warranty cover is movement. If something else breaks they can’t and will not fix it. My wife bought this for me for Christmas after my stem cell transplant so I only wore it 3 times at most. I usually don’t say anything negative but just want to let you know if you fork out 300 for a watch you are on your own. They said they don’t even have a repair team. I am going to send it back to them and they can just keep it, it makes me upset to look at it, probably should just discard it all together. Be sure not to wear it in water or shower because it is not recommended to let the wood get wet.

I purchased the Jack Daniels watch for my husband a couple of years ago, but he didn’t start wearing it until he retired from the Marine Corps about 10 months ago. He didn’t feel comfortable wearing a whiskey watch with his uniform. He also thought it was too nice for everyday wear. Unfortunately, it seems that there is no way this watch is made for everyday wear. He has maybe worn it 20 times and it has fallen apart. The wood around the face fell off and the Jack Daniels name plate on the side of the watch came unscrewed and fell off. The screw was so tiny it was never found. I reached out to the company to let them know what happened. I understood that there was only a year warranty, but I would have been happy if they sent me replacement parts to fix it myself. The response I got was that I could buy a new watch if I’d like to replace it. Why on earth would I purchase another watch when the first one fell apart and you don’t stand by your product. I feel like they should be ashamed of that response, but when I told them I was disappointed in their idea of assistance for my issue they basically told me they were sorry I felt that way. I will never purchase from them again and I will make sure that everyone knows that they don’t back the quality of their product or support their customers. They just ask for more money.

I was given a custom engraved whiskey barrel solar powered watch 2 years ago and it died after about 22 months in occasional/rotational service. My watch smith (Rolex/Seiko certified) says the movement died and needs replaced. I contacted OG and they offered a watch replacement for $140 shipped. They don't have a service dept. to repair the original watch and wouldn't replace it with the same model to use the custom engraved back plate. The watch is cool but poor customer service and no service ability puts this watch in a disposable category. Not good for a $400 purchase.

I have an original founders watch from your Kickstarter and it’s been running beautifully. I bought my son and wife watches last year. My son‘s watch broke and died about a month after I gave it to him engraved and everything a beautiful gift from his father. My wife’s watch just died that was purchased last November for her birthday. The secondhand fell off the watch in an attempt to make cheaper watches you have devalued your product substantially from the shitty new clasp to close the watches to the failure in the movements repeatedly. do better.

I have been trying since 6/7/2026 to get an issue resolved. I purchased a watch for my husband and it doesn’t work. Original Grain has requested a video of the watch not running before they will work with me. I have made multiple attempts to send the video for some reason their system doesn’t accept a video recorded on an iPhone 16. I have sent the video by email and Dropbox as requested and no response. To require a video to document that the watch doesn’t work seems a bit much. I just want to return the useless watch and have it replaced.

Was sent two watches. One changed the time multiple times per day while links fell out of the watchband at other times. The other watch was dead out of the box. When trying to return the first watch, sales guy tried to get me to pay $99 for a mystery watch (special deal only for me and my trouble, but I realized it’s an offer on their site for everyone). Absolute sleaze trash.

I purchased a watch AND a ring for my Husband for our anniversary the watch is great and fits perfect for him but the ring. I ordered a MENS size 12 ring. He wears a mens size 10. So I figured great that'll be a little big but there sre ring spacers and things you can buy for rings that are too big for a person but not rings that are too SMALL. Okay, so ordering a size 2 sizes too big great should work. WRONG. Not with this company. This company's rings are NOT a normal US size ring size like they say. We took the ring to a local US jeweler and the ring is a size 8. EIGHT. Not real sure how this company can confuse a size 8 for a size 12 but they did. So not only did I waste my money I also only had half of the gift I gave my Husband due to this company's sizes being no where close to correct. I will never buy from this company again.

I never received the watches I ordered and the company will not give a refund so it’s been a fight to get my money back ..Stay away from this company it’s a scam ..
