I love Orange Mailer and have been using it for over a year. I send a lot of first class letters, and once I got all my different printers set up right, it is so much easier than before. I have 4 different printers I use, for different applications, and they all work great. It is not a scam. It’s so easy to just print, then drive through the drop off or drop a package off and not stand in line. Love it!

I've sent many packages this year
I've sent many packages this year, and Orange Mailer has made it sooooo much more simple than waiting in line at the post office. Being able to pay as I go was a real draw.

Worst customer service
Worst customer service. I’ve asked a question and the agent ended the chat without an answer.
Bad label system. You cannot get a refund for a wrongly created label. And it was wrongly created because of the misleading process. (I updated the shipping address and it showed the updated one on the webpage. Then why must I also update the type/dimension/weight only to get the shipping address updated? Besides, the system doesn't provide any preview so you really won't know the information didn't go through unless you pay first)
Updates: I didn’t "admit I have done it all wrong" at all. This reply is misleading too (they have edited their reply now). I thanked the agent for the explanation and said it was partially my mistake because I didn’t aware of the so-called step 1234 to update the address. However, I think for an ordinary system, if the process is not parallel but sequential. When the customers modified step 1, it should either automatically update steps 2,3,4 or it should not allow them to directly go to step 5. That’s also why I thought it was a technical issue in the first place.

Hi Donna,
Thank you for your glowing review. When it comes to customer service, you entered a email trouble ticket that was answered within 12 minutes, and you contacted us on chat that was answered immediately. In our chat log it reads that We explained what you did wrong and you even thanked us in the chat admitting that you had done it wrong.
USPS does not allow us to cancel First class postage for letters / flats since there is no tracking on it. ( it clearly states on the 1st class rate option that it is not refundable. )
When it comes to misleading instructions, we have step 1, enter ship to, step 2, enter ship from , step 3 enter weight/package type / dimensions, step 4 click on the rate you want, and then the final step 5 to buy/generate the label. You did step 1,2,3,4 and picked a rate, and then went back to step 1 and changed it, and then bypassed 2-3-4 and went straight to step 5... so you consider it misleading to expect you to do step 1-2-3-4-5 in order?
Here is a link to a video that shows how easy it is to follow step 1-5 https://orangemailer.co/FAQ/videos.mvc?faq=43000559154 ( how to print postage )

Finally A Service Worth Every Penny!!!
I have been using Orange Mailer for around two years.
They are extremely helpful versus using another service that wants to charge a monthly fee...this service is pay as you go and extremely efficient as the postage printed is accepted by the USPS no issue.

Print all USPS labels
I was looking for a way to print USPS labels for First Class mail or Parcel Post. Sometimes I'd rather pay a little less than the Priority Mail/flat rate. Orange Mailer allows me to ship any rate through USPS. I've definitely enjoyed their service. The only drawback is they require you to put money into your account and then charge from that amount for the label. So I have an ongoing credit sitting in my account. I suppose as long as I keep using their service, it's not a big deal. However, at some point, if I was to switch services, I would have a credit balance left in the account. I'd rather just pay for the label as I create it; however, it doesn't keep me from using the service.

Hi David, Glad you are on board with us!
The reason for the minimum balance add at $10 is due to credit card fee's. On each transaction the CC processor is charging us a % and a 30 cents per transaction fee. So it is not doable to let you pay per label since the cheapest label is 35 cents for postage on a post card, so without minimum add to account we would need to add 30 cents per label fee.
The money you add to the account will remain in there until you have a use for them. If you do decide that you want to cancel your account then the remaining balance will be refunded to you according to our policies. if you have any suggestion on changes that would make it better / easier for you please email us at [email protected]

All in all the service is convenient but watch them
All in all the service is convenient. However, they do not allow you an opportunity to proof before they zap your account for the cost and when I confronted them about a known issue - they canceled my account for fraudulent activity and refunded the balance of my account - not the $4+ that they charged for a label I could not use - and I could not even get back on to print off the label. So they basically scammed me out of the cost of that label. They blamed the issue on the USPS and when I said that was all well and fine, but my issue is with our inability to correct the label before you charge me and then refuse to make it right. You just admitted you were aware of the issue and yet you still do not provide your customers with the ability to proof the label, because had I had that opportunity, I would have seen that it was not going to print correctly and would have corrected it first, but now, I am stuck with a label I cannot use and out the cost of postage - wonder what the BBB thinks of that scam? I'm definitely going to find out.

Hi
There is no way to proof a label, the information you enter is sent to USPS and their system is creating the label with the postage and sends it back to us. What you can do if you mess up a label for a package is to simply cancel it, get it refunded, and create a new one. ( cancel and get it refunded with one click of a button on the history page )
There was nothing wrong with your label other than that the company name was printed first over the persons name. Unfortunately that is the way USPS creates it. You did have the option of going to the history page, and there cancelling the label and get it refunded and create a new one, that way it would not have been any issue at all.
Instead you chose to go off on us and call us scammers and extortionists and threatened us.
at that point we decided to close your account and refund your balance.
And if you think that providing you with a label created by USPS based on the information you entered is a scam then you should switch to fedex, you cant buy a postage/shipping labels from USPS without dealing with USPS....
