I was looking for an alternative to Stamps.com so I signed up for the free plan to test out Orange Mailer. I do a lot of mailing and shipping and requested to enable the batch printing to test that out too before upgrading to a paid plan. I received a one-word email in response that just said “declined.” I then reached out to their customer service live chat to see what I needed to do to enable it. Customer service was extremely rude and said things like “well this is a free service” and “you need to qualify to drive a car.” Even if their service was the best ever and completely free, I would never do business with a company that treats their customers that way. I very rarely leave negative reviews but Orange Mailer definitely deserves it. I recommend not wasting any time with them, even their free plan.

I had great expectations for these guys. I had been using Stamps.com but my startup project wasn't generating enough traffic to warrant their $17.95 a month so I switched to Orange. Apart from a few glitches and buggy online software, which they fixed quickly, I was happy. My prices, published on our website included postage but very close to our cost. All was good for a month or two and business started picking up. I ship a standard item mostly domestic but 20% international. One day, without notice, my domestic costs went up by 20%! I called up to report the error and they stated it wasn't an error but they had discovered an error in their code and they had been undercharging for the past few months. I exclaimed that they can't raise rates with no notice as I have published prices including freight and I would need at least a month to make any changes. Their response was "We are losing money on the old rates. Do you want us to go out of business?" I immediately went back to Stamps.com, discovered an unpublished $9.99 plan which was perfect and their rates are 20% to 25% cheaper that Orangemailer. These guys are obviously still in startup mode and don't know how to run a business. My advice is don't keep any large credit balances with OM.

Straight forward and easy to use. A great time saver, especially during busy holiday periods.

I am old and electronics are not my forte. But a gentleman at Orange M was patient we me and got me going. So, no thanks to the USPS, I can once again print 1st Class postage labels for my sales on line.

I just wanted something to print postage. Not have to enter the addresses of where it's coming from or going to. Just print a stamp.
