I wish I saw these reviews before I used them. Optum Store changed their name to Optum Now. So apparently UnitedHealth owns Optum, and there are so many "Optum something" including Optum Now, Optum Perks, and Optum Rx. You might want to stay away from all of them, though. You can go to Optum Perk's prescription coupon pages while being logged into the Optum Now account but "Optum Now has no relation to Optum Perks" according to Optum Now's customer service. The customer service is cold and blunt. They always copy and paste the parts like "Thank you for contacting Optum Now, we will be happy to assist you. " and "You are our valued customer and we appreciate your business. If you have any other questions, please feel free to email us at customer service email address" without any genuine thought behind them.

I live in Washington State. I chose the Everett Clinic as my choice, for medical care. Since then however, they have been taken over by Optum. So far, the issue I have had with Optum, is their uncaring, brazen, ridiculously, rude, unprofessional, customer service. This was rarely an issue with the previous Everett Clinic, because they always followed up on their customer's experiences and satisfaction regarding there recent visit via surveys.

Genuinely the worst company I have ever experienced. I waited HALF A YEAR for one prescription before I just canceled it. I am convinced it is a scam. I called so many times and each time they told me they would expedite it and it would be delivered shortly. Nothing ever happened after my calls. The people in charge must be disgustingly incompetent.

My doctor prescribed two medications. They refuse to acknowledge receipt and deliver. When I log onto the site, I receive this error message: 'We're sorry for the inconvenience. There's a good chance the issue has already been fixed. Please try again. If you continue to have issues, give us a call.' Gave them a call today and was told my doctor would need to call in my prescription a third time because apparently it didn't work or go through the first two times?! Absolutely unacceptable for a doctor to have to call in a prescription three times for it to be delivered once.

Optum has horrific/non-existent customer service. Dr. Husted, my ophthalmologist, is an excellent doctor and so I persevere in my attempts to schedule an appointment with him. I now drive to the office for simple scheduling needs as their phone lines are consistently unable to connect me to his office.

I just sent this to them: I see I have an outstanding bill but should I pay it if NO ONE GETS BACK TO ME AND I HAVE MADE EFFORTS?? Evergreen Health Care seems to care. They got back to me in less than one week, and I have been waiting for results for almost one month. I want someone to call me regarding this. If you want me to pay this, then get someone to get back to me - I heard that OPTUM was super shitty after it bought out Everett CL, and this is so true - I now plan on sending this out on reviews so people can see that OPTUM cares ONLY about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ not people. Heck, the one Dr who was going to be my new primary, when I told her about my pain from the Varicose Veins, suggested to me that I take Gabapentin, and I said that was for Nerve pain. And she is a Dr??? This is nuts. I want a call back from someone with a HEART. Please

This pharmacy did not answer the phone. They put you on hold with unlimited amounts of talking and commercials. If you have to wait half an hour to talk to someone, PLEASE GIVE US LIGHT MUZAK AND NOT ENDLESS BABBLE THAT MEANS WE CANNOT WATCH TV OR READ AS WE WAIT. I got so sick and tired of this endless barrage of garbage, I opted for the call back. I got the call back, but when your useless computer called me back, it made me press 1 to say it was me, but it didn't recognize the number press. I pressed 1 no less than 50 times. I finally registered and did it online, but then even though I put in my doctors address, when I called back to check the status (because the system didn't update and tell me the order took and was processing), the computer readout the info and they used my home address and not my doctors address. I have ONLY EVER SENT IT TO MY DR. I tried to call back and with an rx in process, it was even HARDER to get through to the option to speak to someone. I've wasted over AN HOUR ON THIS AND I AM FURIOUS. I HOPE TO NEVER HAVE TO USE THIS SYSTEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@ I am still waiting for another call back in the futile hopes it will let me press one this time. This experience is terrible.

I am a patient and a physician and I have NEVER interacted with a more incompetent organization than Optum Rx. Employees are not cross-trained and the organization is so siloed that it is impossible to get anything done with a single phone call, message, or chat session. I have never been transferred to the wrong department so many times in my life. They continually deny my patients life-saving and preventive medications that they have been on consistently for months or years. I honestly believe their employee manual has one page that reads "Just exhaust the caller so they give up and leave us alone." Unprofessional and unacceptable. This is not a healthcare organization. They are in this for one reason only: profit. I was stunned to find out they were going to be our PBM (i.e., pharmacy blocking manager). After the awful time I have had for years for my patients, now I was going to get to be a victim, too. Advocating to CalPERS to drop this contract as soon as possible. California's public servants deserve better, and so do patients.
