They don't allow your own data entry for your account. So, their dumb system pulled a temporary address from 10 years ago, and without confirming with me decided to make it "primary". When you call customer service to update it they say, "we can't access that information", and wrongly blame the error on your "Health Plan". They denied coverage of three of my four medications. So, I dumped them.

Optum Perks discount card is a scam. The listed price for my medication showed a 90% discount but was not honored at Walgreens.

Like other customers, I wish I could leave zero, or better yet, negative stars! Of every prescription company that I've ever had, they are by far the absolute worst. If you have a choice, choose another provider so that you aren't stuck with Optumrx. Clearly, there is no oversight of this company, otherwise they would for sure be out of business. Scripts go missing in transit, and refills are frequently messed up or completely incorrect. Customer service is a joke, phone calls are NEVER returned, AND IF THERE IS A FINANCIAL MISTAKE ON THEIR PART, YOU WILL NEVER SEE THAT REFUND. Their negligence is causing serious physical harm to those they serve.

Optum Rx is useless--actually they make matters worse being with BCBS of MI. If I use Optum Rx, Wegovy is still $402.06 per month but if I get it WITHOUT Optum, my cost is only $149.00! What a scam Optum has going on with BCBS of MI. At this point, I don't don't trust either one and think I may be better off without insurance entirely!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Being required to use Optum, with no clear explanation of how this contract was awarded, feels like a political decision made for someone other than the people who have to live with it. I want to be able to talk with my pharmacist in person. Mail delivery isn’t a reliable way to get medication, and on hot days I spend my workday worrying about my prescriptions sitting in the mailbox. That’s not a small inconvenience. It’s a real concern about whether my medication is still safe to take. I think we can do better. Recently, I asked them to hold off on sending a refill because I was travelling. On the phone they promised they would, but they shipped it anyway.

I wish I had read these comments before using this company. I’ve been getting the run around trying to get a refill after it took almost 2 weeks to receive my initial prescription.🤬 If not for Alex, 17709136785 who finally got my meds delivered, I would’ve been sitting here still expecting from Optumrx

Im waiting on 3 prescriptions. Ive paid for them and should have been here 2 days ago. If you would like to die go with them for your prescriptions. If not stay away from optumrx. Are there any competent mail order pharmacys left in this Country? Ive paid for it and they said if it doesn't come in time I'm shit out of luck.

This is the worst prescription insurance company I have ever dealt with. Constant problems. For a year, yes a YEAR, I had to call them every month for one of my prescriptions because they wouldn't approve it. The person on the phone said we're sorry about that, it is now approved and you shouldn't have to call in next month. Sure enough, I had to call in the next month. That was just one of the many problems I have had with them. Tell your company not to use OptumRx
