Onstar is awful. First time I tried to set it up they got my email typed in wrong. I've tried 6 times to call them get it fixed. I get cut off every time I call, last time cut off 3 times. Each time they try to walk me through getting it fixed. I have to go online in my account and try to link the one i created and the one they typed in wrong. And It never gets fixed, i never get an email or anything. They tell me they will escalate it and someone will call me in 3-5 days. I never get a call. Been dealing with it since June.

Have had numerous problems over the years. This is the last straw. They continued to bill me for a Gm Truck traded in for another GM truck 3 vehicles ago. When I noticed and called it in they offered me $135.67 as a "one time good will gesture" they should refund me $497.09. Since I have called numerous times and have asked to escalate to a manager. Total call waiting time just over three hours. On hold again now. 40 years of buying GM?? that ends now.

If I've Ever regretted buying anything it would be my 2024 GMC 3500 At4. You would think spending over 100k it would be reliable. Nope. 171 miles in shop. At 900 miles The LED lighting in front stopped working. I reach out to OnStar and you get connected to someone in India just to waste your time. They transfer me to a gal named Michelle. She was the rudest most ignorant person I've ever talked to in 50 years on this planet. Horrible. She's the deciding factor of why I will Never buy another gm product. Ever. After being hung up on I call back speak to another advisor. Nothing fixed. Still won't connect to my android, gps still cancels out of maps. Why do I pay 40.00 a month for junk, horrible customer service. Plus with new gm vehicles your forced to pay for OnStar Service.

Scam, third-party app trying to scam Chevy owners. Not the only one. No more Chevys for me

If I could give them no stars I would. Had to have our trucked towed, called On Star. First, the rep tells me they can only tow it 25 miles, our dealership is 34 miles. Great I’ll pay for the extra miles. Wait for tow service over an hour. Call back, now I have to pay $212 in Canadian dollars. What??? I live in USA! Rep puts me through to a Canada rep. I explain the situation, he is unable to transfer to US dollars. I cancel the tow and pay out of pocket to have truck towed. After seeing other reviews I will not be getting On Star after trial expires in January

When I bought my 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche, I subscribed to Onstar. It worked beautifully until last year when my vehicle could no longer connect to the new system so I was offered Onstar Guardian using an app. It is horrible. I keep getting knocked out of the system. What a disappointment!!!!

I pay for the premium package to notify me if my car is being broken in to My car window was broken. They then opened the doors and stole a large quantity of items I did not receive a notification from Onstar. After several phone calls on my part they said it's a faulty alarm See your dealership. Dealership tested it in several ways and our alarm system was working fine They even printed a report to give to Onstar. Again I called and was basically told they weren't interested in seeing the report. The woman was rude and I've cancelled my Onstar Waste of money

Piece of junk. I keep blocking their calls, they just use a different phone to call. Must have BLOCKED six onstar calls in the last few months. Plus, when I bought my new buick, I was FORCED to hear a sale presentation before the deal was complete. I wouldn't use on star for all the tea in China.
