The product seems to work ok. I was surprised at the lack of indo on the set up process and why you don't recommend setting it up correctly instead of with your bucket of water. It would be a lot more helpful if you did a video on how to set it up with a proper exhaust system and and industrial chiller ,so it is actually safe to use. I wasted a lot of time, money and effort on setting it up and Omtech had no info on doing it properly. Bummer. You definitely work on this to make the experience easier to use your laser in a safe manner.

The machine works great! Was a great buy! The support however is very lacking in support! It took me three days of calling and leaving a message to finally get anyone to call back. I tried staying on the line to talk to someone but it kept cutting me off and going to leave a message. Lucky for me I was only wanting to ask a question, If I had of had a problem I would have been really mad to have had to wait so long. Your online question and answer is even worse. Once you open it you can not get rid of it. Even leaving a message there was useless. No one responded.

I love the laser and the excellent support I received when I had a bad part problem . . . . however useful documentation and or videos for use, maintenance and calibration is lower than minimal to nothing at best. I had to search the internet on competitors websites to find good detailed information on set-up and calibration of my NEW OMTECH 80W laser. The opportunity to excel is present OMTECH just needs to put forth the effort to provide the initial and educational support for their products. Purchasing tech time to solve set up and calibration of a brand new laser is an under-handed way to make more money off a customer and that is just taking advantage of a new customer ultimately driving them away. Great product that needs some HUGE definite improvements on documentation.

I am so far happy with the 70 watt laser and accessories I purchased! I am concerned however with service after the sale. It seems poor I hope it will improve with time. I'm sure under staffing could be the problem.

Here is my feedback. I’ve had my laser now for several months now. I still have yet to be able to align my mirrors. This is one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever had to endure. I’d only recommend if you are very in tune with these types of products. I don’t even know where to go from here. I have spent around 5,000.00 on getting this to work correctly and nothing. VERY FRUSTRATED

I purchased a 60w model dec 2020. It works well but smoke from wood or acrylic did not evacuate the work volume quickly. The smell of burnt wood filled my work space due to the 4” exhaust fan only being rated at 105cfm. I upgraded the FP-108 EX-S1-B fan to a 6” fan rated at 294cfm from McMaster carr p/n 1976K19 with a 6” to 4” reducer. This helped clear out smoke faster.

Delivery was 2 hours late. I had to pay a lot of extra money to get the forklift for longer. Terrible design on the water pressure alarm system. Water was gushing out of it everywhere. I had to take it apart and change it's layout so it wasn't sandwiched between the housing. Official videos are more for sales and not for use. Work on creating better tutorials.
