When I unboxed my laser I noticed it was damaged. There and two bolts that secure the honeycomb bed and one dislodged during transport. This caused the aluminum support bars to snap in half and the honeycomb bed to be warped. I immediately called customer support to resolve the issue and was redirected to email. Emails take a day to respond and the response is anything but help. Omtech does not have replacement support bars available and offer a tiny refund. I was told to add pressure to straighten the honeycomb bed, however I need the missing bolt/nut to do so.. it has been over a week and the bolt/nut hasn't been ordered. So here I am with a $3,000 laser that I cannot use. At the very least, I asked if my warranty can start when I receive the replacement components and the response was no. Also, this unit does not come with a bucket to act as a chiller despite being able to "run upon opening" and every single Omtech unboxing video. Extremely disappointed! Buy a different brand!

They didnt include the power cord in the box. when i contacted them to get the parts shipped, they refused to expedite it even if i provided a UPS overnight label or account number. I've gotten zero help for over a week. Their excuse is "its unfair to other customers to expedite your parts order" as if its not unfair to me they forgot these parts. We supply CNC products to large aerospace and automotive companies and are unable to ship products without serial numbers. OMTech has been of zero help getting this resolved. Id be out of business if i ran my company this way.

I’ve got a $10,000 lump of useless garbage sitting in my garage. 150w machine with all the accessories arrived with a bad Z axis assembly. Days turned into weeks turned into months of trying to resolve and get it fixed. Omtech tech would reply to my messages every two weeks or so and then with solutions which could not work as I am not a mechanical engineer nor an electrician. I finally just gave up and chalked this investment up as a loss. I use the omtech as a table for my xtool lasers now. I would never buy another omtech even if my life and welfare depended on it.

I was unable to get help or response via email from Omtech on general pricing or specifications on their fiber laser cutting machines. I simply asked what cutting speeds, power and pricing options were. I received an email with an image and link to the wrong machine? Waste of time! I have not received any follow up response.

Zero technical support for a UK business. The UK is only a sales point (warehouse) and tech support is US and China, which in effect means ignoring UK needs. No response to emails, and no UK phone number to call.
