As most of these reviews imply, I had a severe reaction to number 0 and 3, had to get medication from my doctor. After 3 months of using the shampoo and conditioner my hair looked fried (even though it looked great the first 6 or so week), it gradually became more and more straw like. Then my hairdresser recomended the 0, 3 and the bonding oil, I used it twice in one month and started losing hair. I've lost a good 40% of my hair. After 3 months of discontinuing this poison I am still trying to save my hair, but it looks inevitable that I will have to have it all cut short. I'm beyond devastated. Do not trust this stuff.

made my hair fall out and break off. Never been in worse condition since using Olaplex. Products now in the bin. This really should not be on the market as it will ruin your hair.

I bought a complete set in October, and used it twice. Since then, my hair has hardened and become unbrushable. It is tangled into a nest and I am losing a handful of hair every day. I used no other new products that would explain this. Olaplex CS has been very unhelpful and they completely deny that their products are destroying people’s hair. Please don’t buy this unless you want your hair literally ruined. I don’t even know how to save what is left. For reference, I have greying hair and do not use any bleach and never have.

Absolutely horrible. Shedding. Sores on my scalp. Hair literally burning right off in the back. Itching. This will take years to grow back.

I have been using Olaplex under the supervision of my hairdresser for years now. They use the No 1 & 2 in the salon - I purchase No 3, 4 and 5 for use at home. My hair is amazing. The new bonds that have been created have allowed the flyaways to grow properly hence my hair is smooth and in amazing condition. I think people leaving negative reviews are not using the product properly or correctly and expect a miracle. It takes time. The No 1 & 2 should only be done at the hairdresser. Can’t speak highly enough of this product.

I have curly hair and fell for the marketing of this product I now have lost a lot of my curl definition which will take months to recover I do not recommend 3,4,5 or 8

The product, shampoo and conditioner did not suit my hair at all, I only used it twice and the state of my hair was awful. Very dry and itchy scalp. My hair was the same , very dry. Contacted olaplex and wasn’t happy with reply. Bad customer service. Went to the place I bought it from and swapped it for a better product.

In het begin was ik erg enthousiast over Olaplex, ik dacht te investeren in goede, maar toch dure haarproducten (totaal € 400,-). 3 maand later heb ik extreme haaruitval, kale plekken op mijn hoofd en korter haar (aangezien het eraf geknipt moest worden). Ik heb een bloedtest laten doen bij de huisarts om te kijken of de haaruitval aan mijn hormonen/voeding lag. Echter zagen wij bij uitkomst dat het niet het geval was. Mijn huisarts gaf aan dat er vaker mensen bij hem komen met extreme haaruitval, mensen die allemaal Olaplex gebruikten. Dus, bestel dit niet; tenzij je extreem beschadigd haar hebt. Je denkt te investeren in een goede productlijn, en moet zelf uiteindelijk boeten. Bedankt Olaplex voor het verpesten van mijn haar.
