Sadly I had the same fate as the rest of these people.. Had high hopes for this "reputable" company but after a few months of using Olaplex, I've only got 1/2 of all my hair left. I thought I was imagining all the fall out in the shower, but one day when I went to style it, it suddenly dawned on me that it was not nearly as many hairs left on my scalp... Only new addition to my life: Olaplex. And this is from someone who never has allergic reactions to anything, and have tried many other salon brands without any issues. This company and their products needs to be seriously investigated.

Causes hair loss and hair breakage. This overhyped product has ruined my hair, caused scalp inflammation, hair loss and hair snapping off. There are tons of decent brands out there for a fraction of the price. Don’t believe the influencers on social media etc. who are paid to sell this poison.

It would be zero if l could, the products left my hair extremely dry. I only used the products once a week for 5 months. It has left my beautiful hair dry, falling out and my scalp so itchy and red I now have to go to a doctor for medicine. Please do not use this shampoo and conditioner and other products. I’m so sorry I believed all the hype. My sons always say don’t believe anything on the internet!!!!

My hair was ruin, dry, brittle breakage all in one to the point that my hair stylist was in shock that's how bad my hair got. I stopped using it about a month ago and went back to biolage but I lost hundreds of dollars. This company is deceiving! I've had to cut my hair shorter thats how damage it was!

Wow. I have read most of the reviews here and have a few comments. I bought my Olaplex from a distributor in France, where I live ....1. Beware of the fake product out there and buying it online 2. Clearly Olapex is not banned in Europe. 3. I have had COVID and the vaccine. My whole life my hair has been thick, shiny and healthy. I'm naturally a brunette who has been coloring for about 30 years. Last year I started to grow the grey out..hated it, so I had my colorist bleach and lighten the color. I'm a dark blonde now. The bleaching killed my hair. It was like your old Barbie doll hair. I've been trying to be gentle with it..air drying, washing it as little as I can but it just looked awful and dry and damaged. As I initially could not find a distributor or place that sells it near me and my husband was going to the USA for a visit, my sister in law kindly sent me the kit of 0, 3,4 and 5. I tried it and it transformed my hair. It made it so much more manageable and smooth...no longer looks like a dry mess. I searched online for a distributor and found one ..with specials advertised as well so I bought more. My hair was falling out a bit before Olaplex. Olaplex has made it great and smooth and has not looked better in a long time. Ladies who gave it 1 Star...I wish you could ship all your Olaplex to me!!

I bought my sister Olaplex No3, No4 and No5 in September. She used those products exclusively. It’s now December and she’s lost half of her hair. We thought that she may have become ill but a blood test confirmed that she was in perfect health. The only thing that she changed was she started using Olaplex. The hair she does have left is broken and dry like hay. She believes if the shedding continues she will need to buy a wig. She says she feels hideous and that she has lost all confidence in herself. She has invested countless hours and hundred of dollars in trying to save her hair. I can’t imagine what she is going through but I do know I wish I never would have bought her olaplex. I feel absolutely awful that she is going through this and there’s nothing I can do to help her.

If I could give Olaplex a zero I would. After using the 0 and 3 for around a year my hair is totally ruined. It is so dry and I have breakage everywhere, it's just insane, I initially thought the breakage might be hormonal and was just breaking with aging, luckily I stopped using Olaplex and since stopping my hair is already improving. Please don't buy this product and if you do use this with caution. It's really not good.

OMG, lost 1/2 my hair by only using the shampoo once a week for 8 weeks. Clumps of hair were sliding down my back in the shower. Don't use it please! Google 'Olaplex and hair loss / breakage" and you'll see it's happened to others.
