It could be coincidental but upon using Olaplex 8 my hair started falling out. I'm a teacher and I noticed my kids were covered in my hair. In the evening, it was falling into the food I was cooking. I need to note that my hair is healthy. I only wash it once or twice per week, never use heat on it and dry it with a microfiber towel. I color my hair but have never had problem.I quit using it and switched back Paul Mitchell shampoo and OGX conditioner. My hair stopped falling out with discontinued use of Olaplex 8.

I have used Olapex 4 and 5 since 2020 and really like it. However, the products I purchased mid-2022 are different. The consistency of both products were lighter and overtime became watery as if both products had deconstructed. I won’t be buying again as totally different.

My negative experience isn’t with the Olaplex products but with the reward program. My suggestion DON’T offer a reward program if you are not going to honor purchases. I currently use the entire line of products recommended by the Quiz. I would,however, appreciate receiving my reward products.

Thrown away all bottles of other frizz specific products as I have never tried a product that’s worked as well as olaplex. My hair stays frizz free for 3 - 4 days between washes. I use the shampoo & conditioner then no 9. So glad I wasn’t put off by the negative reviews, my hair is thick & wavy & has never looked so shiny & frizz free.

Just threw out all my products. My hair is so dry and coarse. Not worth the money I spent so I just went back to my basic product for 1/2 the price. Seeing all these complaints I don’t know how or why someone is not investigating this product.

Olaplex ruined my hair! When i started to use it made my hair softer..and it felt like is good for my hair..but after a few months my hair started to get more damaged and to break. Lost about 5 inches. And now i am losing a lot of hair. I started with no 3 once a week then added no 4,6,8 and 0.

Worse product ever. I have bald spots or strands are broken all over. It doesn't matter when i cut my hair because when i get a trim all the strands are broken in different spots. Had every possible blood test to verify it wasn't it that. Got all my money back from Olaplex (which was a small fortune) but that doesn't help my mental health. Spent yesterday just crying all morning. Nice way to start the New Year.
