I absolutely hate going to Office Depot. If I have packages to drop off (usps & fedex) I will stop to make one stop instead of two. Every single time I drop something off it take 30 minutes, they are the slowest people ever!

I just had the worst experience in purchasing anything in my entire adult life and I'm 69 years old. I was told my order was out for delivery on 12/30/2020 and I was told it would arrive by 5 pm and later I was told it would still arrive by 9 pm. The furniture never arrived. I was told it would arrive the next day & it did not arrive. I then was told it would arrive on 01/04/2021 and it still did not arrive. It did arrive on 01/05/2021 at 3:40 pm. I was told by the contractor the boxes could only be left on the front porch or garage, but the contractor that assembles the furniture for Office Depot wants them in the room where they will be assembled. These boxes were too heavy for me to move on my own. If I had known I would receive the absolute worst service I could imagine, I would not have purchased your furniture, and being told that I had to move the boxes was more than I could tolerate. Fortunately for me, the delivery person was kind enough to put them in the room where they are to be assembled. Please do not use the corona-virus as an excuse. The communication has been horrific with the vendor used for customer service except for the supervisor, May, that took over my delivery issue and got it handled. Previous to her, I had been lied to by a front line person and hung up on by what was told to me to be a supervisor. This model of business is not sustainable in my opinion and to be sure, I will NEVER order anything from Office Depot again. Extremely, disappointed!!!!!

I will not and hope that others do NOT order anything from the store. I went in to office depot to get a desk only reason I went to the store is to see the size of the desk they did not have it in stock but the lady said she could order it and the chair I wanted and it would be delivered at the same time. Well I received the chair as was told by the driver they would bring the desk back the next day but, I never received it the next day so I called customer service and they said it was marked delivered I said ma'am if it was delivered I would not be calling you! She said she would make a "ticket" and have someone contact me within 24 hours well guess what that never happened! Then I went to the store and was treated as if i was criminal like I was trying to steal the desk- I ask if i could just get the one on the floor that was for sale that day she told me no "they do not sale off the floor" sometimes I think exception should be made... anyway I ask if they had any other desk in or close to same price maybe they could work with me on and of course no they didnt have a one in stock so convenient.. I then ask to speak to a manager (area, district manager) and just so happened her or she was on vacation hmmm so needless to say what should have been a simple deliver turned into a nightmare and nobody to help or they say they are not available... simple fact just don't order from office depot they will misplace the stuff and make you sound like the person at fault.. they dont deserve a star....

Like the other reviewers stated, they lie about expected delivery dates, AND they misplace packages, AND they refuse to allow you to cancel your order AFTER they notify you that your delivery date is going to be three weeks later— oh, and their returns policy only allows 14 days for furniture. Chat help is pointless, as they have no clue. Third party shippers are incompetent. DO NOT order from them online. I will call my bank and file an FTC complaint this Monday if I get no satisfaction from them.

Order fulfillment is very poor using Office Depot's website. It feels like every time I order from Office Depot I have to coddle them to complete my order. One customer support agent blatantly lied to me about my order, saying that I would receive it today even though the item was not even in transit according to the tracking details (and of course I didn't receive the item on the day promised by the agent). The entire customer experience at OfficeDepot.com is awful. The in-store experience at Office Depot is actually good. If you are ordering online, just stick with Amazon and do yourself a big favor by avoiding OfficeDepot.com.

I ordered a UPS (battery backup) on sale and it was schedule for delivery 2 days later. It did not come and I got a message to check order status on line for updated information. It was never updated. I checked with on line chat over the next few days with no useful information. I called and got a very sweet lady who gave me a UPS tracking number and $10 refund for my troubles. Then they called me back, canceled my order, refunded most of the rest of my funds (not all) and reordered at my original sales price (no longer getting the $10 refund). I asked for a supervisor who promised to fix the math and give me a full refund and an apology. He did not fix the math. I had to go back onto live chat and help her do the math 3 times and I finally got my $0.78 cents back. Run down. They take an order and don't deliver Online chat does nothing to help Calling customer service leaves me satisficed They call me back to make me pissed off and not even make me whole On line chat takes me 3 tries to help them do math to make me whole again. Seriously, this is seriously my worst customer service experience.

I ordered a case of shine on Saturday free delivery and arrived Monday morning. I have some poor service with other companies and gave them a poor review so I should give a good review for a good service.

I purchased a desk, they never delivered. Then I tried posting a review on Office Depot's website, and they didn't let it through. So I am posting it here: === This review is mainly about the delivery company that Office Depot uses, as unfortunately I didn't happen to enjoy the desk (never received it). It's not USPS / UPS / FedEx as you could expect, but some EXEL / Ryder who apparently are not capable of handling deliveries. So, here is what happened... I received a phone call from a robot that the delivery was going to happen in about 10 minutes. We were home, but no one actually came neither called. Later, however, the driver (who we had never seen) apparently marked the package as declined by us. After that the system was showing that there would be another attempt to deliver the desk in 3 days, but when I reached to Office Depot customer service, I was told that the carrier already sent the package back to their warehouse. I asked for either trying to route it back to me again, or whether I could pick it up from somewhere myself, but neither was an option. My advice is if you decide to buy something from Office Depot, you better pick it up from their store, and don't request delivering it to your home, as otherwise there is a good chance you will never get it. ===
