I would give it less stars if possible. I subscribed and paid for digital NYT access a couple of months ago, perhaps 3 or 4 months. Although it did allow me to sign on for the free newsletter, the sign on never gave me access to the digital articles they marketed with the subscription. I have contacted the NYT 3 times and they deny I have a digital account listed with my email account. I asked them to check with their financial account collections and that was apparently ignored. They haven’t had a problem charging for it, just allowing access to the content. So my advice is buyer beware.

Once you've signed up as a member of the NY Times it's very difficult to unsubscribe. My e-mails are not answered. They try to make it as hard as possible to unsubscribe. Only subscribe if you want a paper for life.....

Typical controlled media. They report their version of the truth. Don't want facts to hinder their political agenda and their pay masters. I spend my money elsewhere. John De Nugent has a brilliant blog .More factual than NYT , not even good enough for toilet paper.

The New York Times has just cancelled my online subscription because they claim it's unpaid. But it's not; it's paid up to date, even though I've been denied access to the website for weeks for the same alleged reason. When I contacted the help chat service about this, the advice given was to try another card! Why - so the NYT could charge me a *second* time and *still* not give me access?

This company gave me issues when I tried to unsubscribe. I contacted them (which is the only method they give you) to unsubscribe, and while they said someone would contact me within 24-72 hours, nobody did. I then received another email that they took money for the next month. I figured out how to unsubscribe for my end, but I have a feeling that now they will email me with information about unsubscribing, after they had squeezed some extra dollars out of me. Not acceptable.

I demand an Apology by NYT to all Hindus and Indian PM Modi. Its a racist newsportal. Its spreads Fake news and hatred for a certain race and spread Hinduphobia. It had issued a job posting specifically to write against Hindus and Democratically elected PM. Its been publishing fake news against India . Racist News Paper

The NYT website has fabulous content but the experience of navigating the content makes it the worst website of all major newspapers (I subscribe to NYT and several others). I end up reading the headlines only and skipping through most of the content because if you read an article and then click to return to the headline page it takes you back to a reset point that is somewhere near the beginning of the paper. With a hard copy paper, the experience is analogous to reading an article and then folding up the paper andgoingback to page 1. The reset is frustrating because then you have to scroll down the site to try to find where you left off. Add to this the fact that there is a breakpoint in the page where you have to wait, sometime several seconds, for the reset to complete itself. The bottom line is you won't want to read very many articles on the NYT site before you switch over to the Washington Post.

I read this journal every day. It makes me stay up to date. Articles could be a bit longer sometimes. I feel they do not go always deep into the topic
