I posted a job ad on the new york times for over 500 dollars. I tried to contact the NY Times to inform them that the ad was not getting any views and to understand why. NY Times never returned my calls or emails. The ad was a complete waste of my money.

NY Times is used to biased reporting. We just want honest, transparent "INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM" no matter the side! However when they can't be honest, even with their 'best seller' lists for non fiction It's OBVIOUS THEY'RE FAKE! They listed their top "The Wager" @ #1 with 14.1k and they go down to "Blowback" w/5.2 k @ #5. Then we get to "King of Late Night" @ #6 with 17.6K! If they do it on innocuous stuff like this, I wouldn't trust them to"report" on the important business of our country! NO WONDER NO ONE TRUSTS THE FAKE MEDIA ANYMORE! THEY LIE IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES!

I like their reporting. have been a member/supporter for decades. But I just found a terrible thing on their website. You are allowed to "gift" 10 articles per month. 1. this is NOT per calendar month. It is more like a debit card, where you can have 10 "outstanding" per month. IMHO, this is terribly documented. 2. It is impossible, for a person, or an NYT support person, to provide information as to the status of such gifts. So for example, if you attempt to gift and are told "sorry, you have given 10 of 10" it is IMPOSSIBLE to determine when you can gift your next gift. TERRIBLE.

scamming me out of my subscription money, always auto-charging x3 the price whether I want to renew or not. NYT i'm done with you, if you want to know the news go buy a newspaper

I had been a subscriber of NYT for 3 years, since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. They conduct quite a deceitful business practice -everytime the subscription is up for renewal, they charge me the full amount before the end of the subscription contract. For 3 years I have been okay with prolonging the subscription -because when I decide to cancel the subscription, but they will immediately counteroffer (more like beg me to remain a subscriber) for less than 25% of the original cost. I had repeatedly requested to please contact me before renewal to prevent any unnecessary charges, their suggestion has been to wait until the end of the contract to either renew or cancel. This year, once again, they just charged me the full subscription cost. I am tired of their deceitful practice, this time around although they attempted to retain me as a subscriber -I declined. They know they can retain you as a subscriber for much less however they will not disclose it until the last minute, when they've charged you the full amount. Terrible business model, speaks very poorly of NYT.
